This product is easy to use and very easy to assemble and to do the link that you're actually looking for. You can actually measure out any filing cabinet and then on the little aluminum pieces there's actually breakage. All you have to do is get pliers and just snip it off easy wjere you need the correct lemght,breezy and you're all set! It littery takes less than 5 minutes to assemble. It is a great value for your money, plus it's sturdy, the screws that you have to use are very easy, it just makes everything so organized, and clean looking and professional looking.

Wonderful replacement or file hangers for either a free standing environment or you need to replace a file cabinet drawer that is missing a support rail that is unattainable without having to custom order something ( i know I ran into this very issue). Super easy to put together, customizable for either legal or standard hangers, but you will need some tools to make the process easier. I would recommend having a pair of Lineman's Pliers (that is what they are showing in the add images) they can score the already indented .5 inch marks but once you score them again, you then take the pliers and can easily snap off the portions you do not want as you make it size to fit. Super sturdy and very clear and easy to follow directions. Gave my old 5 drawer file cabinet new life!

This is sturdy. I have a vintage steel case 2 drawer cabinet the rack doesn’t fit exactly in the drawer so the cabinet drawer won’t close the front braces a a bit tall but it’s for volunteer work in my home so I’m fine with it

I needed a legal size file holder for about 8 hanging folders. I cut this down as small as I could but it is still pretty large. The side bars are pretty flimsy because it is so long but does stay up. I think if it was put into a file drawer it would be sturdier but I need it free standing. After tax season I may bring it home and take a hacksaw to the folding parts to make it smaller. It was easy to assemble once I found a way brace the folding part and bend at the score marks. Does the job of keeping things in order and should last for several tax seasons.

I purposely purchased these because I had several that were installed in a file cabinet I purchased. The design has changed. The rails are now hinged, probably to make it easier to ship because the rail can be folded in 1/2. These new rails hinged rails are flimsy. The rails on the old version are solid. Two things that make these unuseable.1. THE FILE FOLDERS DO NOT SLIDE OVER THE HINGE BECAUSE IT IS WIDER THAN THE REST OF THE RAIL. SO THE FILES HANG UP ON THE HINGE.2. THE RAILS SAG IN THE MIDDLE WHERE THE HINGE IS BECAUSE IT IS SO FLIMSY. ESPECIALLY IF YOU SIZE THE RAILS FOR THE FULL FILE LENGTH OF THE DRAWER.......SAY 24". SO THE HANGING FILES BOTTOM OUT AND WON'T SLIDE.This issue with the hinges is not obvious from the photos and is not mentioned in any of the text. Amazon needs to delete something like this from their inventory.

I bought this as I bought the wrong size files for my filing cabinet and it has worked perfectly sitting inside my filing cabinet drawer. You can flip it for larger size file folders as well!

This is what I needed to hang my letter size files in my legal size drawer, so it is functional. There is one file lying down in the drawer because the metal rail is bent and the file won’t stay on. In addition, I had to ask my brother-in-law to cut off the links. He had to use heavy duty outdoor clippers because they were virtually impossible to clip off. My past experience with notched metal like that is that you can bend it back and forth until it breaks off. This metal is not like that at all! I gave the product 4 stars because it is functional for what I need.
