This little kitchen helper is wonderful. Position it in your yummy blue cheese and draw in the cheese. Insert the blue cheese into the olive and then you have the best accompaniment to a cocktail.

Purchased expressly for stuffing black olives. Previously had a metal unit w spring loaded plunger that worked well until the spring failed. Saw this 1 piece unit and figured problem solved. Wrong. The diameter of the stuffer is far too large except for the very largest of olives. After mangling several olives, I tossed it in the trash. Quality of construction seemed fine, just need to downsize the business and.

I love this little gadget. I soon learned that if I stuff the barrel with cheese all the way to the top, there will be a cheese cap left protruding upward after I finish stuffing. Then I can use a finger to tap that down over the top of the olive. So much easier and tidier than fiddling with a knife and spoon (don't ask). The olive is densely stuffed from bottom to top, and no delicious crumb of blue cheese goes to waste.

I used to stuff queen olives for my dirty martinis by hand and that was a mess. This stuffer works well for a decent price.Though it's all plastic it is made very thick and durable, and the simple design means it's not likely to break like a spring-loaded stuffer.As noted, I can stuff queen olives with about 1 1/2 "loads" of this stuffer. Probably works better to use a slightly more solid cheese since the roquefort I like has a tendency to cake around the outside of the stuffer, which I then have to scrape off. But not a big deal.Easy to clean, just toss in the upper dishwasher!
