It can make a huge flame! My group was cooking on a normal lp camp stove and was taking forever to cook a pot of sauce. I put the pot on this and 3 seconds and it was boiling, at low to medium. the dial had a long way to go till high. I be this would boil a fresh pot of water real quick. The stand was more stable than i was expecting. Just make sure you get something to break the wind if you are out in the breeze. It is slightly sensitive like most stoves of this style. I bought 2 before. ill probably get another.

Pros:It folds up compactly, but has good stability when unfolded.Multi fuel, you can use the expensive iso-propane Primus style canisters when backpacking and switch to cheaper propane fuel for car camping. With three burners, it can really kick out the heat, so it should work well for larger pots and pans.Cons:Its not very light compared to the smaller JetBoil/Primus/Msr single burner backpacking stoves. This isn't the stove I'd take to cook for one or two people, but if I were cooking for a larger group where I'm using larger pans or skillets, this would be a great choice because it can really kick out the heat, so it can boil large volumes of water or fry up a meal in a larger skillet. I'll definately use this for car camping, as I'm not worried about weight and this is much lighter and more compact then the double burner propane stove I normally use.

I love the fact that it can use three types of fuel as I keep all three on hand for various stoves/heaters. I only tried this with an iso butane mix and WOW, it was a jet engine when I opened up the valve. I thought I would have an issue with the ignitor being underneath the stove but it was easy to depress and started up immediately. The three folding legs are solid and I would never worry about what cookware I use with this stove, unlike others that use the gas can as a base....

Our antique camp stove finally died. It was almost 40 years old so when we started looking for a replacement we were amazed at how much the options have advanced. This little stove comes in a 4x3.5x4 box, for example. In the box is the stove and two adapters. The stove hose connects with an isobutane tank. Two adapters in the box connect easily to allow a butane or propane tank. On the end of the hose is the control knob. We tested it with a typical propane tank. From out of the box to cooking is less than a minutes. The legs and pot support fold out easily while still being very well attached to the unit. With the adapter and propane attached, one press of the attached piezo and the stove springs to life. Using the knob on the end of the hose let us easily adjust the flame. 6800 watts of heat is strong enough to boil water quickly. It also will go low enough to simmer gently. Larger stoves deliver more but weigh more usually. This one has the satisfying sound of jet engines when turned up. It's kind of a thrill. It's got most of it's weight down low so it's very stable. If a 1 pound, 3 fuel stove that folds into a tiny box, you may like this stove as well as we do.

Overall, it's sturdy and seems well-made. Everything works as is should and there were no issues with leaks. The only plastic pieces are the ignition button and the valve. Having these made of plastic is nice on fingers in cold weather. It weighs 11.4 oz without the adapters. The adapters weigh 2.8 oz together.I used it with isobutane, but I like that there are other options for travel. It's very stable with the legs that kick out and the grooves on top that help grip the bottom of the pot or pan. I had no issues with a regular skillet or a family-sized camping pot staying in place when testing it out. It's also very powerful - perhaps it could take off if turned upside-down with the valve all the way open? I recommend turning it up just a bit to start it with the ignition, and turning it back down. I don't think I'd ever use it on the highest setting, since it would burn the fuel right up. However, with those three burners, the raised area that protects them a bit, and the super-convenient ignition, I'm guessing that it would be a real champ for use in windy weather. I haven't tested this though. It's just based on prior experience with typical single-burner backpacking stoves. It can simmer well. For the most part, I'll use it on lower heat. The heat distribution has been pretty even during use and it's been a good stove for actually cooking foods. The base does get pretty hot, so watch the surface it's on – that is typical for this type of stove.

The ONLYFIRE Portable Camping gas stove takes up very little room when fully collapsed. It fits neatly in the provided bag. I was only able to test using a 1lb propane tank as fuel (as I had no other fuel types available) but this worked extremely well in my testing. The 3 burners really do provide a significant amount of heat and for such a small package - I am impressed. The ability to have multiple fuel choices is a huge bonus. I would expect the operation to be similar using whatever fuel type is chosen or available. This would be a good addition to pack in with some stored food for an emergency situation. The amount of space this takes up is very minimal and I think it would be very efficient in heating up food quickly and safely.
