Needed a sprinkler for an odd shaped area. Went to local box store. They had a rainbird sprinkler head on one of these. Their head wouldn’t spray the distance i needed, so I got one of these and different head. Works great. Did such a good job, I got a couple more and different heads for all kinds sprinkler patterns/distances.

I decided to build my own above ground sprinkler systems using in-ground sprinkler heads. This spike worked perfect, and has currently survived multiple people running over my lawn sprinkler. Surprisingly tough! Not sure why they keep getting hit, but that's not orbit's fault.

Used these base stakes to replace the broken bottom for the Orbit motion sprayer. Had to use a PVC 1/2in to 3/4in adapter and taped threads to make it work overall. Has regular water hose on one side and other side has hose outlet thats capped. Could not find the Orbit motion sprayer parts so this was the next best I could find. Works great and is out in the garden right now. Fairly well built. Would recommend if you are looking for a solid base for a sprinkler setup.

I have been using this for one month and the spike that goes into the ground is already bent. Probably won’t get another month out of it before it breaks.

They hookup easy and do not leak. Other reviews said that they bend easy and they do if there are any rocks. They are cheap to buy so it is a trade off but I would likely get them again if needed.

Verdaderamente no puedo creer que se atrevan a a poner 10 PACK justo al inicio de su descripción y lo que te llega son solo 3 aspersores (3 pack). Es la 2nda ves que me sucede que algún vendedor vendedor pone información falsa sobre la cantidad o capacidad del del producto. No creo volver a comprar nada de alguien que trata así a sus clientes.

The metal spikes themselves are durable and manufactured well. They fulfill my purpose with direct attached sprinklers, and sprinklers mounted on PVC risers. (Pay attention to the top screw thread being 1/2", and the side m/f being 3/4" GHT.)However, the plastic endcaps are crap. When you send water pressure, they can easily break right away. It's important to fix them by replacing the plastic one with a brass endcap. Might as well replace the washer with a silicone one as well. Also, use Loctite 545 or similar thread sealant to prevent leaks.I'm using brass fittings all around with these, and running them successfully all over the garden. So far so good, using every day for 2-3 weeks. No data on if they're winter-proof, or best taken inside. I plan to blow the lines out with a compressor, and hope for the best.

Decent product but the black plastic end cap leaks no matter how securely I tightened it. The end cap needs a better gasket or rubber washer or you can do what I did, I put teflon tape on its threads and 90% of the leak was gone and then I ensured that all threaded connections were tight. The spikes are decent but only time will tell how well they fare against the weather. I hope that the galvanized spikes dont rust away in a few months. For the price its worth it. Four stars and not 5 because of the leaky plastic end cap. I bought 2 of them and both had slightly leaky end caps. I hope this review helps.
