I actually have enjoyed having this and it has done wonder so far after the installation. I have had no issues with the sound quality that comes from this and it has worked pretty well so far. It is a pretty pricey device but I have no complaints on the performance. The installation instructions are not bad and straight forward so I could easily get this device to work. The quality of the build is not bad. I had no issues with it heating up or having bad feedback. The ports are well made so the plugs hold well. The outer casing is durable but easy to scratch up. I am a bit disappointed with this company packaging. All the devices are a bit loose and rolls around inside. There was not kind of damage but it looked like it could easily fall out of the box. There is no real factor seal. Overall I think the device works pretty well. It gives you good quality sound and it is fairly easy to install. I do not agree with the pricing but the results are good. It is well built but it could be better packaged.

Amazing range, simple setup, durable:I'm a huge fan of these OREI hdmi extenders - I own a couple different versions that I use for different purposes, but the wireless HDMI capabilities these things offer are just so convenient. The outer shell of this device is very durable, so is well suited for areas where it might take on small bumps or falls. The range of this device is also just incredible - I have not tested out the full 10km range, but I've been able to broadcast a game several houses down (probably close to 700 feet) to a TV in my friends house who doesn't have cable. This device has a major advantage over other less expensive devices in that its range is just second to none. I currently use it at a long but not super long range to avoid some of the squality issues that other models would run into at about the distance I need to use it, but if you do need to use it at a range of several kilometers, I would recommend testing the product as soon as you get it, since these devices can start to lose a bit of quality near their stated ranges.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

I own quite a few product as from OREI and I will keep purchasing newer products in the future. This extender is truly amazing and it’s all thanks to being delivered through a fiber channel. The top speed of fiber is basically the speed of light or at least close to it. Considering the bandwidth and processing needed to accomplish the task at hand is a true engineeering marvel. Highly recommended

This extender works well and is easy to set up and use. I experienced zero noticeable lag or connection issues even over fairly long distances so I'm super impressed with its performance. The build quality is solid and it looks and feels professional grade.

4k@60hz.IR blaster for your remote control.10km range.10km range?!? Yes. 10km range. Going to be honest. I don't think I'll ever push it 1/10th of 1km. But in case I need to run an HDMI signal over fiber...up a mountain...maybe to the next town...I'll have that capability. Which is nice, I suppose.Supports Dolby and all that stuff. Only real disappointment is the audio out is only stereo, instead of 5.1, 5.2, 7.2, ect...I guess you can't have everything. One good thing about using fiber vs other methods (such as radio transmission) is the power efficiency. The transmitter and receiver use only 5 watts each. Now that's efficient.5 stars.

Let me just say I am amazed by how much information can be transmitted through a single fiber optic cable. This extender was easy to setup, basically plug and play. The sound and picture are amazing even after going through 600' of fiber optic cable. I usually use Cat 6 cable, but I have half a spool of fiber optic cable left over from a previous job, so for this project I chose fiber optic, and I am glad I did. I will seriously consider fiber optic cable from now on. 5 STARS
