I have never bought a tension gauge because they're bobbin specific. I'd have to buy several and they're expensive. Now I have one that I can test on anything! It is easy to set up and use and is very accurate. Take the guess work - and frustration out of the tension settings!

This works good and is easy enough to use, when you finally figure out how. It doesn't come with any kind of instructions. I took off a star for that. It's sturdy made and comes in handy.
