I have some geese who have started visiting my yard and leaving a mess. With all the bird flu stuff, I really don't want that and they leave a mess behind on the patio which is gross.I've tried many devices, but this noisemaker seems to be pretty good. I like that it's solar powered so I can put it on the edge of my yard and not worry about powering it, at least so far. I also like the dog bark sound, which the geese do not like. It's also good that I can add my own sounds easily, so I can swap out other sounds if the geese get acclimated to one sound. The motion sensor seems to work pretty well, but I had put it on a tree to get the coverage needed to trip the sensor. I'm using this in the daytime mode only. It's pretty easy to set, but don't loose the remote.. Overall, the current price of over $25 for one device seems pretty pricey, but if it keeps the geese away, it's worth it for me.I don't know how long this will last, and I will update this review if it fails.

There are three modes, which can be easily switched, day and night, the sound can be adjusted, there is also a light setting, with a remote control, the function is better than other old models, it is very convenient, I love it!

This solar power motion sensor alarm comes in handy with the squirrel problem we have with our bird feeder. When we see the squirrels helping themselves to our bird food, the handy remote can easily be used to sound an alarm noise to scare them away. The remote has decent range in an average sized back yard. The alarm is completely customizable and you can even record your own message. We have never found the alarm to have a dead battery, therefore the solar charging keeps the battery sufficiently charged. Overall, it works well and has a good variety of sounds to choose from.
