A nice old-timey tractor seat, the steel pan looks to be thick enough to not fatigue over time with regular use. The padding seems to be a 3/4 inch or so soft foam that can be replaced with something more to your personal preference should you want, the black vinyl covering is attached by drawstring around the edge and three grommets for drainage in the seat, it can't be easily detached from these grommets so if you're installing new padding you have to work around that. We'll see how this seat holds up over time

While the seats was better then the metal one at first I have used my tractor 3 times and is already getting holes in it. The material covering it is so thin. The foam is showing so I have to buy another seat waste of money.

Overall I like the seat looks good feels pretty sturdy. The cushion did have the imprint of a bolt in the material when received It. A heat gun quickly removed it hopefully the padding underneath will return to original shape also. While the seat is good quality, I did not realize it was a pull string cover because there are no pictures of the underside.
