Trash! Broke the first time I used it 🤦♂️ I’ll spend the extra for echo brand from here on out . Not even worth the hassle to send it back for $13

The head for the trimmer was a reasonable price. It took a little longer to arrive than most items I purchase. It was easy to put on and works according to my son.

Solid product. I actually find it easier to use reload than the original. Have used it three of four times for a total of about four or five hours with no problems thus far.

Fast Shipping and very easy to install. The problem I have with this is it did not last one season. I have a 1.2 Acre lot with a large driveway that gets trimmed biweekly. The head did not last and ended up completely falling apart during the last trimming. Looks like the plastic on the head where it can come in contact with the ground thinned out and the spring popped it off. I will not buy this again as it does not last. I went back to the Echo head that lasted me over 9 years.

Just installed and fits my Echo perfectly. Cannot comment on durability yet but appears solid.

I initially rated this a one star because like others, was not seeing how this head would ever fit on an Echo SRM-2225 due to lack of instructions and the nut being too big which left me perplexed. However, I reached out to a different seller after trying to get it working by buying another one with different threadings and the same result occurred where the head didn't fit. They sent me a youtube video showing the install process. Once I saw where the error was the install was easy. The error where I was seeing it fail was the post in the first picture that I did not know came off. Once I stuck a screwdriver in the little hole shown in the second picture I was able to remove the post and proceed with the install.Easy to install once you know how it's supposed to go on and the new line is fed easily every time you bump it. The only ding I'll give this is due to lack of original packaging and no instructions shipped with the unit.Steps for installing on an SRM-225:1) Rotate head until you see a small hole in the slat in the guard (Picture 2)2) Put the screwdriver in the hole from step one and rotate clockwise removing the old head3) While keeping the screwdriver in place, use a wrench removing the post from picture one if yours has it installed4) Put new trimmer head on rotating counter-clockwise while keeping screwdriver in place until snug5) Ensure that the line feeds properly and everything is snug and secure
