I bought this because our cat could not jump up on our bed anymore, and was having trouble climbing into bed using the blankets and sheets. I was able to assemble these steps in a short amount of time, put them into position, and our cat now uses the steps pretty much all the time to get on the bed.

Got this to help my old cat get up and down the bed. She took to it fairly quickly. It’s easy to put together. My cat is 10 lbs and that thing is very stable. The covering is very smooth and soft.

These stairs for cats are very well designed to keep all the bolts hidden, which is something I always feel bad about when getting my cats a new tower: who wants to nap on a cold metal bolt head? These stairs, though, are assembled from the top down, which allows the tops to be completely covered. They're sturdy and an excellent height, definitely a step up (haha) from the foam steps I used to get for my cats. Unfortunately, there was one hole misdrilled on the base so I couldn't install both of the metal support plates as-is. Since this is only a short set of stairs sitting on a flat floor, I didn't bother fixing it, and it's working just fine with one plat short, but that still was a defect.

My cats are going to be 17 and 18 in Oct and they are still able to jump most places but both have fallen recently trying to go from the tub to the top of toilet and now want me to pick them up. This was easy to put together and was the exact right size to fit in that small space. Just pay attention to the differences between some items for example the 4 similar sized pillars are 2 pairs of different ones and serve a different purpose but if you look at the diagram it should be quick to put together. I did it on my own and it would be even easier with a 2nd pair of hands to help.

I gave 2 stars due to the fact that the stairs seemed to be comprised of quality materials, and well-made. However, despite repeated efforts to get my dogs to use these, they would not do so. I believe they didn’t like/trust the gap between the stairs. I also think they didn’t feel as stable as the box style of dog stairs. These looked nice and were easy to assemble, but, sadly, failed my “dog test”.

We have an oversized older cat who has the inability to jump onto anything higher than a couple inches. She uses these stairs to climb right up onto the bed now so she can go up whenever she wants even when I’m not there. They’re very sturdy. She comes up from the side of the bottom stair and there are no tipping issues. So happy with these!

I have a 17-pound cat with spinal damage who can't jump but will not be denied access to the bed. This is perfect for him.

They work great. My cat is 18 years and has gained a few pounds in his old age, making hard for him to jump. These are great for him to get up on the sofa. He’s 19lbs of solid bowling ball and they are easy for him to go up and down and they are sturdy.
