I converted 2 PDP kick drums into a kit with no tom hardware so I needed 2 of these plates to make it happen. They lined up perfectly with the holes and they very much so look like they belong on the kit. I'm extremely happy with how they look. Going this route surely beat forking out the money for virgin kick drums.

Decent looking delete plate, not as “chrome” as the hardware on my bass drum but good enough. Easy install.Seen another review where it had scratches in the finish but that was not the case with mine. It was possibly a one off defect!

This cover plate for my PDP bass drum was so easy to install, (picture #1) Came with all of the hardware needed.The reason I purchased it was I had my bass drum cut down (by Jeff Woods at Wood's Custom Drums in Langley, B.C.) from an 18inch depth to a 14inch depth which I prefer as it's easier to get a good thump sound, and lightens the drum!! The only drawback having the bass drum cut down was, the placement of the tom mounting bracket caused the toms to be further towards me making it harder to reach my pedal! I had a double tom stand already so I mounted the toms on it plus my crash cymbal (see picture #2.

I truly love PDP/DW drums and gave played them fir years now. I have come accustomed to high quality. I recently decided to change my setup and thus needed theis plate to cover the tom mount hole after moving jng my Tom's to a stand. This late looks horrible. Now, I understand it's $15, but at least make the finish uniform and consistent. The plate is chrome plated but has a lot of brush scratches on it. This should have never made it past inspection. This is the worst part of my kit. It will definitely not stay. DW.. wake up. This is how you loose loyalty to the brand. The simplest things make a big impact.

I read in a review that it fit on a Gretsch drum. It fit perfectly! Nice and inexpensive. I used the existing back plate. The piece comes with a plastic backer so it won't scratch the shell. The hex key screws look very nice. If I decide to go back to a drum mounted tom system, I could do it very easily!

This fit my brand new 18” PDP Concept Maple bass drum perfectly! My tom mount was oval, so I was worried the rectangular shape of this would be an issue but it wasn’t. The screw holes lined up perfect.

¿Qué les puedo decir? Es una placa que va en el bombo (yo la uso en un Concept Maple de 24", no sé si quede en alguno de otro modelo) y hace perfectamente su trabajo: que se vea como un bombo virgen y se vea bien.Recomendado.

Wanted to cover tom mount hole because I have a rack system and didnt need open hole on bass drum. Nice chome finish,looks good.

Perfect fit to cover unused Tom mount at top of kick drum when using a stand to mount Tom instead of top of drum. Great cover plate to give it that clean look.
