We have used these for years and would never go without! Keeps tags quiet and does not bother my dog. People always ask me about them. I can leave my tags on collar with no worries of dog gets out. She is also microchipped!

I have the same item in pink and used it on my dog's collar and now harness for the past 7 years...it got dirty and the color faded, naturally, but the neoprene has never ripped, nor have the Velcro strips ever detached. And it definitely keeps my dog's tags silent. One of the attached photos shows the reflective "Quiet Spot" logo still legible on the front of the bag, and the other shows how I criss-crossed the top-side Velcro straps over the center strap which passes through two metal loops of the tags inside. You can also see the original color in the middle of the top-layered strap (after I added a new tag). I've used another silencer that was plastic and opened on its own -- fell off the collar but, thankfully, at a friend's house, and a different plastic silencer that broke. Both were "top of the line" items but decayed over time. This neoprene silencer is, in my view, the most secure and long-lasting on the market. Only reason I bought a new one is because I bought a new harness and am ready for a fresh, new silencer...and black goes with everything.Only one concern, but mostly aesthetic is that this silencer only comes in one size and is about an inch longer than my small-breed dog's tags inside. Not a big deal, but looks and functions way better on her harness than her collar (no longer using due to geriatric trachea issues), which also put the silencer closer to the ground and dirt. Wish it came in a smaller size, but it still keeps the tags completely silent. And, be sure to periodically check the tags for dirt cover since that caused a film over the imprinted writing and the info. should always be clearly readable. Anyway, I strongly recommend!

These are great. Every 2-3 years I find myself buying another one. The neoprene does kinda break down after a long while and the Velcro gets completely clogged with hair, but I don't think any of my dogs has needed more than 3 over the course of an average 14 year life span.I've got a successor service dog from Canine Companions for Independence and my education and career have both gone to the dogs, so I've had *a lot* of dogs in my life over the years! I've always got my dog in a kennel next to my bed and I've often got a pup or two in my room/by the bed for crate training. Tag silencers are a must! I've also got a gnarly sleep disorder. Once I take meds and get to sleep it's very important I'm able to stay asleep. Tag silencers are an *absolute* must!!I'll never forget how happy I was the first time I saw these for sale. My first service dog (about half a million years ago!) traveled the world by my side with his tags wrapped in the toe part of a sacrificed pair of panty hose then sealed up with a rubber band. (I've still got his collar and the last set of panty hose is still doing its job!) That worked fine, but it didn't look great. As a diy hack to save money it's still an option, but these are nicer. The Quiet Spot manages to look clean and professional while at a relatively inexpensive price point. My only complaint is that I wish the branding wasn't quite so large and prominently displayed front and center. Sure, they do it in reflective material to help make the dog more visible at night which is good thinking, but it's not like there are a ton of similarly made knock offs so we need constant reminding of the brand name. That said, I recall buying a pink tag silencer made out of more like plastic or gel at one point. I shouldn't have bothered since I just got another of these when it turned out to be too small and not at all flexible to accommodate the different tag styles/sizes.

I really like these tag silencers. They fit quite a few tags due to the stretchiness of the material (neoprene material), and loop securely through the tag rings while attached to the collar so the pouch never falls off and gets lost. One of my dogs itches vigorously, and this silencer keeps her tags from being too noisy. It also keeps our walks a bit quieter, as there are several barky dogs all along our street who listen for jingling sounds of collars and go bonkers as stranger dogs jingle past. It doesn't cut out other dogs barking entirely, but it is reduced for sure. The reduced barking keeps my dogs calmer on walks too. This particular purple color that I ordered is very attractive and matches my dog's collar very nicely. Side note, LupinePet collars are GREAT!I own a second pet tag silencer from this same brand in the royal blue color, purchased 3 years ago. The pouch is still in good condition (velcro intact, still stretchy, color not too faded), so I don't believe I will have to be replace them any time soon.
