I’m 60 yo lady that has had cats most of my life. I’ve always used the little plastic scoops and this one has opened my eyes to settling for less than great. Fantastic tool! I love it!!!!

I wanted a sturdy, metal scooper. Boy, this one is perfect! It's bigger than I thought, which is great! And it's sturdy so I can really scrape to get underneath the clumps. My kitty always pees in the same spot so after working all day, I come home to a giant, deep clump. This scooper got it right out! I had a big, plastic one but this one is sooo much better! It's also nonstick which, sorry to tell you, isn't true. Kitty pee clumps DO stick to it. But otherwise, it's great!

The main reason I bought this scooper is for the non-stick quality as described. As you can see, it's not non-stick. Sure, dry litter doesn't stick to it, but who scoops dry litter? One scoops wet clumps of litter, and that wet litter sticks to the scoop. The only way I will get it clean is if I take a stiff brush to it and wash it off with a garden hose because I am certainly not going to put it into the dishwasher. Eww. Otherwise, the scooper is great, very strong, deep enough to lift a large clump out and shake the dry litter back into the pan. It hangs nicely on a hook near the litter box. But I don't like that it's all gummed up with now-dried cement and I hate the serrated edge of it that makes the clumping worse.

I have had cats my entire life. Currently I have five. I'm going to throw out all my scoopers and I have purchased a second of this one. As far as I'm concerned this is the only scooper You'll Ever Need. I put it to the test last night. I have soft wood litter that turns into sawdust and tofu letter which is very thin and rice grain like. It out preformed all the other scoopers I have. If you scoop litter,you need this scooper!!!
