The 22 cm Paris pepper mill owes its unique look to the naturally contrasting grain of the olive wood. The olive wood for this mill is sourced from sustainably managed European forests. Crafted in France and designed to last, this 22 cm pepper mill is at ease in both the kitchen and on the table. Machined in our workshops in the Doubs region, the exclusive pepper grinding mechanism has been specifically designed to perfectly reveal all the aromas of black, white, green and red pepper, as well as coriander seeds and pink peppercorns if blended with one of these peppers at a ratio of no more than 15%. The shiny metal button adjusts the grind setting in a single motion. The more the button is screwed, the finer the grind, and vice versa.

Goes well with Acacia kitchen tools and table accessories. Mechanism is top quality, as expected from Peugeot Paris. We use these in the kitchen AND on the table.Despite using it in the kitchen with my messy cooking hands, there aren't any stains or greasy spots on the wood. The (natural) finish is excellent and everything wipes off easily; no odors or textures remain after a simple damp rag wipe-down (maybe with some dilute lemon juice or vinegar after a day of hardcore holiday cooking).Now that I've been using the salt and pepper mills for over a year, I do sort of wish that it was the new style that lets you dial the courseness of the grind at the bottom of the mill, but I still appreciate the classic screw-button design. AND I love the olive wood.

All those other grinders look nice & all painted but this one has class. I work in a fancy kitchen and all the chefs want to steal this from me but they know wussup.

It is a beautiful pepper grinder, I love the olive wood, but it came in a smashed box that is torn on the inside. Since this is a gift it is important to have a nice box. Although the description and reviews say it has been tested at the factory and already contains peppercorns, this one contains no pepper or evidence that it ever had any. I returned it and received a replacement but the second one arrived in the same condition as the first. Be aware that this will appear to be a poorly handled, used item if you choose to order.

Not only is this an efficient grinder, it's almost a piece of art. The metal grinder is smooth and far better than the droves of other grinders that break or aren't consistent. Having said that I'm finding it difficult to get a course grind even with the top knob barely screwed down. That's my only con.

This was a great pepper grinder, until it broke. The screws used to secure the grinding mechanism in the bottom of the grinder aren't secure, so one stripped out and got loose, the grinder migrated, and now it's unusable.It's very pretty, but it's garbage.
