Purchased this adapter for my drum rack. I needed a mount that would hound a drum pad at a 45 degree angle. This mount did so and is strong and secure. I would recommend it especially if you need a mount that that is adjustable.

This is becoming my new rack clamp very fast! I have a Gibraltar rack, and use mostly Gibraltar clamps, with a few DW and PDPs sprinkled in. BTW to be clear, these are not meant for Pearl square tube Icon tubes. These are for standard round tubes.I wanted something for a drum module and found this, and it seemed perfect. And it was! Quite a bit of adjustment. But what I realized is this would be easy to use for cymbal booms or whatever, and can be used on vertical pipes easily! Also it's great for putting close to another clamp but being able to have the rack item far enough away from the other one when real estate on a rack tube gets tight. But the REACH makes it really sweet. Sure, it costs twice as much as a Gibraltar clamps. But if you need to get closer (or further) from the rack, you have to use a clamp, and some other clamp, with something connecting them. I have pieces that use right angle clamps, a short piece of tubing, then a multi clamp. That's more expensive than this. So after looking at my rack setup, I realized I can really get more creative with my tom mounts. I've always wanted to have to rack on the INSIDE of the toms, so the drums look like they are kind of floating, and your beautiful drums aren't hidden by all the rack tubes. Since these can bu used to mount from vertical tubes, and get some reach, I am starting to work on redesign ideas for my rack. Also I use a cable hi hat setup, that currently used a Gibraltar SC-EA250 to mount it. I think I can use this instead, which would be a cheaper alternative. That's a great clamp! But rather expensive and the clamping ends are VERY large. To the point that my RH2050 "just" fits in it. In fact, I can't adjust the spring tension because there isn't enough clearance. I was actually going to grind one side down. I haven't found out if this fits yet, but I'm hoping (the RH2050 has pretty large diameter). Anyway, I absolutely love these clamps!!

I have been looking for something I can secure my kick to a rack. These work perfectly and they should really make something that secures your kick to a rack hoop personally but these work great.
