Given the cost of getting someone to come to your house to clear plumbing clogs, this snake is an absolute bargain. The product is high quality for the price, and the drill attachment works great. With the 42 foot length, I was able to run the snake the whole way from my kitchen to past the main cleanout for accessing the sewer line going to the street. My rechargeable 25 snake could not go the whole distance; I have a feeling I will only be grabbing this one in the future.

I have naturally curly hair and I'm at an age where I lose a good amount of hair daily, most of the time it's in the shower or at the sink. I have a mesh trap over my shower drain, but my bathroom sink has the standard stopper and seems to clog a few times a month.We've got several products to help remediate this problem and we've also used a wire hanger, an abraded twist tie and long tweezers to help remove the clusters of hair, but these are messy and sometimes ineffective, especially if the mass has slid down deep into the pipe.This has caused a good deal of irritation for my husband and quite a bit of money when we've had to call in a plumber, so when I found this, I KNEW I had to order this.Fortunately it arrived quickly because my sink was draining slowly and I knew it was going to end up stopped up in a couple more days. My husband and I were able to snake the spring into the drain, pushing it down until it was imbedded in the mass and started cranking it back up. It was not difficult, he just wound it back slowly so the tip would stay inside the hair mess. It was so gross, but so satisfying to see how easy this was and how effective this tool is. This is easier to use when you have 2 people, one to unwind and one to push, but can be done alone you just have to make sure you unwind enough before pushing the spring into the drain.This comes with everything (except instructions, but if you don't know how to use an auger, google it) you need to unclog a stubborn drain cleanly and safely. I am so happy to have this! It is well made, seems to be good quality and does exactly what it is supposed to do. And it's kind of fun to use honestly. I definitely recommend this.

This is a nice kit. It's great for unclogging the drain, and the little snakes it comes with worked really well too. We haven't had any issues using it, and it's a great thing to have around. I can't speak to the price point and whether it's reasonable/good, but our experience with the product was good.

Solid construction. Handle turns easily which is a bonus in a tight space. Didn't need the drill attachment.

Overall a nice package and auger works fine. However, it was a little difficult to tighten and loosen the chuck when extending and stopping the line, especially with gloves on. I think a lever -type stopper would have been better.
