We use these tablets to prevent cyanuric acid from building up in the pool. We have used this product for several years and they work great. This is the best price we could find.

The CYA in our pool was way too high so we could not use stabilized chlorine. I ordered these undtabilized tablets and they have worked fantastically. The CYA has come down because we've had a lot of rain and I've been able to keep the chlorine up with these large tablets. They are very easy to use, I just put them in the skimmer basket.

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND SUGGEST TO AVOID /// *BE AWARE AMAZON LISTS THIS ITEM AS NON-RETURNABLE* ///I included two photos one of this product label NST PRIME - POOL LIFE showing "other ingredients at 29.8%", then one of another product label otherwise identical 3" clorinating tabs) from a popular leading brand in which the " "other ingredients are 5.95% of which is a pretty standard range".After uploading the comparison photos to this review it seems some of the information may be cropped out, I won't be sure till I post.I have dealt with pools on and off since my early teens making it about 40 years now, and when I purchased this product "I was never so disappointed with a chlorinating tab product as I was with this one".As you might see in other reviews, when these tablets dissolve, they dissolve very quickly comparatively speaking, they leave sort of a blueish foam/scum on the surface of the water as well on surfaces like inside of skimmer, pool, which I can't imagine is good for any filter components etc.I believe the obvious conclusion is the above mentioned is from all these OTHER INGREDIENTS, which as well speaks to other reviews stating the chlorine level never rose to normally expected or appropriately when using these tablets. This is not shocking (no pool pun intended) information when you take into account these are round figures only 70% active ingredients.I hope this review helps persons avoid what I experienced and is helpful.

It was the right product, it appeared to be full, nothing was missing, and it was packed in a cardboard shipping carton, but the lid on the bucket itself was loose, and I had white chlorine powder everywhere!

Been happy with these so far. From what I read, I figured they would dissolve quickly, but IMO they last just as long as the stabilized tablets I've used. Switched to these this year because my stabilizer is at the high limit and did want to drain 1/2 my pool. Plus I won't have to add borax this year since these have a high PH. Haven't had to add acid yet either. Pools been holding steady right around 7.5-7.6 which is where it seems to do the best at. Double win for me! Will definitely buy more if I need it.

I didnt read these reviews ....or the label🤦♀️🫣 and it did in fact clog my chlorinator super fast.....once problem resolved and I moved them to a floater everything has been great. I love that they are cya free and it's solving 2 issues as my calcium hardness levels were low anyway. I've been using 2 (3inch) tablets /week to maintain correct chlorine levels with testing. This method is currently more affordable than the liquid chlorine I typically use. Very happy with product for now.
