This is the only type that I have found to be light enough and least obstructive when placed directly against the glass. 14w is not much, but it charges a small battery pack that can be connected to a small fan for my dogs in the backseat. I have 4 in total. Tried multiple placement location and decided that two on the hatch are least obstructive. The other two are placed against the double pane windows in the living room that get 8+ hours of sun. I use cable clips with clear adhesive backing to fix them to the glass. When it gets hot, the adhesive backing would give a bit but still hold the panel in place.

Total area of the six panels combined is slightly less than the area of my flexsolar 10 panel and I get slightly more power from my flexsolar 10 in the same conditions. I like the weight advantage of this product, but would prefer one monolithic panel with a single USB 3.0 port for minimum weight and 10-15W power. You could sell a lot of those to gram counting backpackers.

I bought this because it folds up small enough to fit into my Maxpedition Proteus EDC waist pack. The performance specs don't move it to the top of my list, but at this price you might want to get one or two to stash in your emergency kit. IF you don't need to carry it on your person you will probably be happier with a Big Blue or similar panel.Pros:Simple, tough construction, laminated between sheets of flexible teflon-like materialReasonably light: mine came in at 234 grams. (A bit more than advertised)Compact: folds down to about 4.5 x 5.5 inchesVery inexpensive.Cons:Mine fed 1.0 amps into my iPhone at midday in Hawaii, with the panel oriented perpendicular to the sun. While certainly enough to be useful, this is a lot less than the 2.8 amps advertised. The panel has a persistent shape memory and cannot be made to lie flat. The plastic housing for the USB connectors seems unnecessarily large, and nearly doubles the thickness of the unit when folded for storage.

This solar panel meets my needs. Out of the box on a sunny spring afternoon in the northern hemisphere the panel provided 8w to my powerbank. I'll be using it on a hiking trip to keep our powerbank topped off. The total weight with included carabiners and USB cord is 8oz.
