I got this potty-training seat for my niece when she visits, primarily to help her easily access the toilet and reach the faucet to wash her hands. She just turned 3 years old and visits about 3-4 times a month. It used to be a hassle for my brother to help her every time she needed to use the toilet, and this seat has helped her get used to using our toilet when she's away from home.The product arrived in a plain brown shipping box and was in several parts, so some basic assembly was required. However, it was very simple and took less than 5 minutes to put together. The potty seat is made mostly of hard flexible plastic (ABS), while the padded area of the seat is PU leather. The whole unit is lightweight and manageable for my niece to move around and set up herself.The design is well thought out and stable. Despite being made from flexible ABS plastic, it can easily hold my niece's weight (around 30 lbs.). The seat area is foldable for easier storage, but it doesn’t flatten out entirely due to the fixed design of the legs and stairs. The two built-in handles on the top of the legs are a nice touch and make it easy for my niece to use while climbing up.The seat features a raised front to act as a splash guard, but since my nephew is still a baby, I can’t comment on how well it works for that purpose, though it doesn't affect my niece. The seat cushion is comfortable, soft, and waterproof, so cleaning it with a hose is a breeze if it gets dirty.The only minor issue I’ve encountered is that, while the height of the seat is adjustable, which is a positive feature, there’s no locking mechanism to keep it in place. As a result, when you pick up the chair, the bottom section can slide down freely.Overall, it's a great one-piece potty training seat/ladder and works as intended it is also priced very well. While it doesn’t have the fancy animal designs of some other models I've seen, I appreciate the clean, simple look. It doesn’t look out of place when stored in the corner of the bathroom. It’s sturdy enough that my niece can stand on it while washing her hands at the faucet after using the toilet, though some supervision is still required. Lastly, I have a round-bowl toilet (not an elongated one), and it fits perfectly.

this potty training seat has made things so much easier. My toddler feels safe and comfortable because of the cushion and the non-slip step. it made the whole process less stressful for both of us.

Finally, something that gets our two year old excited about potty training. Didn't come with instructions, but was easy to figure out. Stable and easy for the little one to climb. Our toilet bowl sits 17 inches off the floor and this fits perfectly.
