My toddler is potty training at the moment and this was a great step up from his little toilet that we have on the ground. The other one we have he loved because it looks like a toilet, and you can flush the handle and it says "good job you did it" and then you just toss the liner, but I think he is just getting a little too big for it. So I was searching for something to put on the toilet instead. This seat is so nice because you can adjust the length of the hole so it fits better on the toilet on the underside. The handles are great for stabilty when they are sitting and the squishy seat makes it comfortable for sitting. The splash guard is also a must have because it is higher than normal ones.Overall great toliet set for poty training.

This tiny toilet seat is so helpful! I had started potty training my toddler with a different style of tiny toilet seat that has a ladder/steps going up the front of the toilet, but my toddler would just climb right down off the toilet with that one when we were first starting. I switched to this one for the first couple of weeks and it really helped - he couldn't get down and run away, and the cushioned seat seemed to be more comfortable for him. Now that he knows what to do I'm using the other one in our spare bathroom, but we still mostly use this one. This one is also small enough to easily fit in my old diaper bag backpack and carry around, and it has helped him use the toilet in public restrooms where he wasn't able to go before since the seats are too big.

This potty chair is great. My 2 year old is currently potty training and we have a small toilet in our living room for him to use when we are in the room, but we keep this seat for the bathroom upstairs, so he can sit and try to potty before bet. Fits over our toilet seat perfectly, feels secure.

this is our first "seat only" booster seat for toddler.the other options we purchased INCLUDED the ladder.this solely depends on the age, skills, and balance of the toddler.we first went with the seat with ladder, as we wanted the ladder stabilized to the toilet itself.a standalone step stool in my opinion is less stable.Plus for our toilets that are "chair height" which are taller than "standard" toilets, we wanted the ladder.this is for the standard toilet.we have YET to get the right step stool that we think is secure.not yet sure what we will take with us on vacation.this adds to the height that the child must climb to get to the toiletI still want to look at other options that are just "rings" that make the toilet seat smaller.I believe that some of the training potty seats also come with seats that sit on top of the toiletgiving it a 4-star, not a 5-star due to the added "height" to get onto the seat.I am still NEW to doing my research and comparison of toddler toilet seat options, and honestly, I'm not a super fan that this is the most cost effective.plus, you still need a sturdy and stable way to get UP onto the seat.the bracket on the underside is weird.I initially thought that the arms would swing and could be adjusted to sit under the toilet bowl rim.but this seams to just stop the seat from sliding off completely off the toilet bowl seat.again, not the sturdiest, so it depends on the skill and height, and agility of your toddler.

Pros: neutral color, easy to install/put together, my toddler seems to really enjoy having a cushioned seat and handles for extra stability and security, I like that you can add the bars on the inside for extra stability, and that the seat is removable for cleaning.. Also, I had 2 other type of potty toppers and the splash guard was too low for my little boy but this one has worked great and I finally don't have to clean the floors after he goes potty!Con: it is bulky and ours didn't come with a wall mount. But I don't know if I'd have wall mounted it anyways becuase how bulky it is and how far it would stick out from the wall.Overall, if you have a boy and have been struggling with spash guards being too low I'd definitely recommend this toliet topper. If you just have a girl, I'd go with a slimmer design that takes up less space.

This Toddler Potty Training Toilet Seat fits really well on our Kohler oblong toilet seat. Once you put weight on the seat it grips the side of the bowl and doesn't move around. Our toddler likes to climb up on it, grabbing the handles, and then hop off from it so we added a little stepping stool in front of the bowel to enable a step up and step down (much safer!). Highly recommend this and it can be ordered the same time as this seat - especially important if this is a gift. This seat is super easy to put on and take off. There is an adjustable arm that needs to be assembled on the back of the seat and not sure why it doesn't come already assembled. There are instructions on how to put it on, but it was a little awkward at first. It is supposed to add more stability - and not sure it really serves a big purpose. The cushioned seat is attached with velcro and easily comes off for cleaning. The only thing that would make this seat better is to provide a back to it - to encourage our toddler to sit forward. The first few times using this, there definitely needs to be 100% supervision (especially since wiping front to back - not vice versa - after potty is a must learn practice) and then less supervision is needed over time. The size of this seat works well for larger toddlers and it looks like it will last long enough to help transition our baby to the adult sized toilet seat.
