Very loud at the default setting! A few months ago we had a situation where the circuit breaker tripped for our basement chest freezer. Fortunately we noticed it before any damage occurred, but we knew we needed some kind of alert. I was glad to find this. It works great, and when the power goes out, an alarm sounds that is unmistakable. You can silence the alarm with the push of a button. One thing to note - this will block the other outlet (for grounded plugs) on a typical dual-outlet receptacle, even if you plug it into the bottom outlet.

We have a GFCI outlet in our garage that our deep freezer is plugged into. Once or twice a year, the GFCI safety mechanism triggers, cutting off power to our freezer without us knowing about it. Needless to say, we've lost food because of it. This alarm is a really helpful solution.The alarm can be set to different volume levels. All are super annoying if you're standing near it, but I'm not worried about hearing it. It's nice that is has a passthrough plug so you don't lose an outlet. However, I'd be careful not to plug something with too heavy an amp draw into it just to be safe.The only downside to this is that I realized this thing will go off in a known power outage. Fortunately, it has a button to silence the alarm in such an occasion, when you can't just restore the power. There's a slight delay in the alarm triggering after being disconnected from power (we're talking seconds, not minutes or hours), so I'm guessing it won't trigger on a momentary power outage.

This alarm helped to let me know I lost power to my incubators in the middle of the night. It is quite loud even at the lowest setting. It works flawlessly to alert me. I wish there were better instructions but I figured it out.

These two doorbells work very well, great value for your money, very easy to use and install, and they look great on your door. The doorbells can be changed in both loudness and different ringtones, which I like a lot would definitely recommend these.

I had received a message from seller before about directions not being clear for some buyer and the sent links on how to setup, change ring etc. Very nice of them to do although I just pulled them out of the box and plugged in the receiver and pulled the strip on battery off the doorbell button, held it close and pushed the button and it rang, I pushed the button on the side of the receiver and ring changed and kept changing every time I pushed it, I held the button on the one I wanted and it started using that one. Seemed to be easy for me. Great little inexpensive doorbells.

The doorbells work well and have many choices for chimes. I like that it comes with two doorbells and two plug-in ringers. It is also nice to be able to select different ringers for each doorbell, so you know which door to go to to answer.
