The Briidea power failure alarm will notify you of power issues through LED flashing and an adjustable large alarm sound of 80-120dB. When you connect the product to a high-power electrical appliance with a circuit breaker in the circuit, causing the circuit breaker switch to trip or the power supply system to shut down, a one-on-one targeted alarm can be triggered to remind you to troubleshoot the circuit problem, rescue related property and equipment

Power Outage Alarm
Once the power supply fails, the siren sounds and the red light flashes (0.25s interval). If the power failure lasts over 8 hours, the siren will be turned off automatically with the red light left (2s interval).

I use these on my incubators, and they work extremely well at telling my if/when the power fails. The alarm is loud and annoying, which is actually a good thing.

After losing an entire freezers-worth of food when the GFCI tripped, I decided to get an alarm so this wouldn't happen again. It seems solid, with a nice piercing alarm I should be able to hear even out in the garage. Plugged in easily. Not sure if I prefer it to have the socket on the front, as it does, or if a side-facing socket would be better. The lights are easily visible from straight on, but from the sides, as the lights are recessed slightly, become more difficult (read: impossible) to see. Not sure how long the internal battery will last should it lose power, though. I would actually prefer to not lose power and find out, personally. Otherwise, seems reasonably robust for such a tiny device.
