I had been running for about a year when I started waking up in the morning with foot pain. I tried these insoles and they have eliminated the pain I was having from running. I wear them in all my shoes, including walking, running, and hiking. They feel a little weird and I had to get use to them, but they work great.

Recommended by my colleague. What a smart design! I have a struggle to use the full insole because my sneaker wasn’t high enough to put them on. This half size is working perfectly! Finally can get some support for my arch by standing 8 hours a day!

This orthotics are good but don’t last very long. I had mine for a few months before they started losing fabric and the sticky bit on the bottom to hold them in place.

My podiatrist recommended this and they have really helped. Powerstep Insoles, Pinnacle 3/4 Thin, Arch Pain Relief Insole, For Tight Shoes, Arch Support Orthotic For Women and Men

Having struggled with Plantar Fasciitis, these fit my shoes and boots perfectly, and although initially tight, squeezing foot between the arch and lacing on top of shoe/boot, the comfort is long lasting in the shoes and boots I wear.

I have relatively normal feet and usually do not wear special inserts in my shoes, but I purchased a pair of ballet flats and I wanted a bit more cushion in them. This model of PowerStep was recommended to me for the shoe brand and style.Pros -- I really like the firm arch support. Standing upright, the inserts were comfortably supportive and felt natural on my foot.Cons -- the loft of the insert was unsuitable to the low profile of this shoe. Where standing still felt great, walking bounced my heel out of the shoe at every step. The 'dashing up the staircase' test failed at step one. I think that where the rigidness of the arch support felt great, the same rigidness extending through the whole of the insert was too much -- the insert failed to flex with my foot as it moved, and popped the shoe away from my foot.Returned for failing to meet my needs. A different style of shoe would be better with this insert (a sneaker or loafer, something that sets more firmly against the foot or crosses higher up the instep).I ordered these inserts in both size W6-6.5 and W7-7.5 for use in a size W7 Rothy's flat. The size W6-6.5 fit best, and the size W6-6.5 matches my normal street-size shoes (Rothy's brand runs small).

These are by far and away the best orthotics I've ever used. I have a Morton's Neuroma on one foot which I have virtually forgotten about since getting these years ago. I wear mostly flat shoes but these also work with the limited pairs of low heels I occasionally wear. Some reviewers commented negatively in regard to some issues they've had and I've had a learning curve with mine but with a little care, I literally get years out a pair and am only replacing them because I've worn through the blue lining. The black foam cushion extends a little beyond the white plastic support. When taking off my shoe I've learned to loosen the laces enough so I can lift my arch far enough away from the orthotic to not drag and catch my sock on the foam edge near the ball of my foot. Over time, my shoe bed molds shape and this becomes less of a problem even if I end up eventually cracking that part of the foam lining. The grip pads on the bottom will shift over time and I just re-stick them in place although at some point I tear them off as my shoes acquire a permanent indent locking them in place.I'm hard on them. I live in them. I love them.**UPDATE** These are not the same any more. The ones I have are the ones pictured above with the smooth white sole and the new ones are black, ribbed and more flexible much to my dismay. Like I said, I get years of wear from mine and I only discovered this design change by ordering the new "Foot Petals" because they made it sound like they had more cushion. They don't, they have slightly less that I notice in the heel. The Foot Petals have the same cushion layer (except pink) as the old Slim Tech but have the new black, ribbed sole which flexed a little more and easier than the white Slim Tech sole. I'm disappointed I can't get my old Slim Techs on Amazon anymore and mind you that I am comparing the "Foot Petals" model here with the old Slim Tech's but I doubt there will be much difference.

These were recommended by my podiatrist. You aren't here to read about my plantar faciitis problems, but these are definitely a big help. At first usage, you will probably notice them in your shoes. I was worried I was going to have that "walking on a dowel" feel in my arches. After a couple of hours of these supports taking the pressure off my plantar fascia ligament, it just began to feel comfortable. Now I find shoes uncomfortable without these inserts and my heel and ankle pain is 85-90% improved (almost gone). I haven't had any issues with quality of the materials. I would maybe like a little more anti-slip, but I've become adept at slip-on shoes and keeping these in place. I find the 3/4 length very convenient as they provide the support while fitting easily into any shoe I own. I was told that custom orthotics are about $350 and last 4-5. The doctor said to replace these about every 6 months, which is about $80/yr. That makes the cost of these about the same as the custom orthotics. For me, there's no point in the custom route, but I understand your needs may be different than mine My only wish - make some kind of a slipper sock with these inserts attached. I hate wearing shoes inside, but life is just more comfortable with the inserts.
