Very high quality paints, my daughter loved it, she paints constantly and I think I will need to buy a few more. There is absolutely no residue on her hands or nails after the activity. As soon as she washes her hands, nothing is left behind.

The Prang Washable Watercolors are an absolute delight! The vibrant colors and easy washability make them a top choice for my art-loving kids. The set's compact size and included brush add convenience. It's a fantastic introduction to watercolors, ensuring creativity knows no bounds. Great for painting rocks with the vibrant colors

The colors are very vibrant, easy to rewet. Good color selection and the size is just right, we brought it outside to paint. The brush comes with is good too. At this price point, it's totally worth it. I will repurchase it for sure.

I bought this during lock down to try my hand at learning water color painting. I am an experienced acrylic artist but the medium is very different. This paint is fantastic for a newbie. I tested out the colors before using and one color came up a little chalky but they are very vibrant and spread well. I created some very pretty paintings with some youtube videos with only a minor learning curve. And honestly for the price, if I mess up it doesn't hurt like it would had I gone with a more expensive kit at this time.

I have a 2-year-old and a 5-year old. They both love to paint and we have always used Crayola watercolors. However, once we started to shelter in place, watercolor palettes were hard to come by and I ordered these instead. Really, I should have been ordering them all along! The colors are more vibrant or seem more concentrated so even when my 2-year-old drenches her paintbrush in water, she's still able to put color on the paper. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it's almost like the paint in the wells is more creamy, and not a super dry chalk-like pellet like other brands. This also means that, at least so far, they haven't dried out and cracked, or had pieces fall out, like other brands. Happy mom and happy kids here!

Old stock! The paint was so old that the yellow turned ochre. I got a Prang refill of yellow, but this set is so cheap one can't swap out paint pots like the more expensive Prang watercolour set, so the true yellow colour is on the side. Frustrating in a backpack. Using the set anyhow because my child needed a Watercolour paint set for school.

Yes. These cheap watercolors are wonderful. I'm just learning to use watercolor so I'm no real expert, but I have tried a ton of paints, some very cheap, some more expensive. Most of the cheap paints are very chalky and the color can be hit or miss. Prang watercolors are so much more than that. They are very vibrant, lays well and not chalky at all. They're good paints for a beginner to experiment with. They're not just for kids and you can't beat the price. I highly recommend trying them out.

I bought 18 of these sets. Many of them arrived cracked and broken. The paints themselves are of a very poor quality, even for students. Avoid headache.

I wasn't expecting much from this kit but it's my first water color kid from since I was a young teen and now I'm almost fifty. The colors juice up very well and if you put your finger nail to them dry it sinks right in, which I think is a good sign. But like I said I am still novice at this point. I know the more expensive sets juice up the colors well but the cheaper ones don't. Don't think mine came with a brush or I just can find it. lol Great starter set, it's just hard to get the colors to the tray, that could take a while and lot of work.
