This was totally not the sweep I needed for my shower door, but it trimmed down easily and gets the job done! I needed one with a different top so had to trim the star shape into more of a T shape. Even though it looked like a 5-year-old did the trimming job, it went into the slot tightly and keeps the water in the shower and not on the bathroom floor. It is a solid, versatile, good quality product.

Bought this product because it appeared to fit in the (very small 1/8”) groove in my shower door. With some dish soap for lubricant I got it installed. Then I found out the product is so stiff it wouldn’t allow the shower door to close so I started trimming to shorten it. I almost trimmed it all up. At the end of the day, the “sweep” is extremely stiff. Two stars overall. Wouldn’t recommend.

This was a bit tough to install and very tight fit but once it is in all the way, there are no problems.

Seal works as intended, unfortunately, my shower door was installed poorly which causes leaks even with the bottom seal. Finally figured out a work around with this seal and a bulb seal glued like a threshold.

You read right. There was a sticker on the underside of the box warning of cancer and reproductive harm and I also noticed the same warning on the manual which was visible through a cut out on the back of the box. I've included pictures of both warnings in this review, but the one on the manual reads as follows:Prop 65 Warning: This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.I did a quick search on Prop 65 and it looks like it's an initiative in California created to provide warnings when businesses use certain chemicals in their products which are known to be toxic and can cancer or reproductive harm. The knowledge is provided to allow Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. These chemicals can leak into the air or into the ground when in landfills causing contamination to drinking water and obviously in this case, any chemical leakage is going right down the drain.Fear mongering aside, the warnings are likely there because Prime-Line is a California based company and Prop 65 is a California bill, so perhaps they're legally obligated to disclose the aforementioned information for items sold out of California. I'm really not too sure, but I do wish the same information on the box would have been made available on the Amazon product page so I could have been informed BEFORE I bought the product. While removing the product from the package, I noticed it definitely has a chemical smell to it as well as a slightly oily feel to it and after handling it, the smell had transferred to my hands and fingers. It took a couple washes before the smell was gone, so I would recommend using gloves when handling the product. Thankfully the smell is only noticable when handling the product and is not strong enough to cause the entire bathroom to smell, but needing multiple washes to remove the smell from my hands was a bit disconcerting.I installed it and it fit well, but the whole Prop 65 warnings along with the chemical smell on my hands requiring multiple washes to remove was enough for me to change my mind about using this in my house, especially since we have small children that use this bathroom on a daily basis.I'm done having kids so damaging my reproductive organs would probably just save me a trip to the vasectomy office which is a win, but jokes aside, I can't in good conscience have this in my house in the event that it isn't safe.Regardless of what you decide, I hope that the information in this review will help you make a more informed choice with whether or not this product is right for you.
