What is pictured is a brass jag with a steel threaded lug. What you get is a brass jag and lug that are all one piece of brass. This will eventually break and get stuck in your gun. Do not buy

I purchased this in July 2022. Like several other reviewers I received a jag with brass threads turned as part of the main part of the jag, not a separate steel threaded stud. It should work OK but obviously brass is not as strong as steel.If this was for 8x32 threads which are smaller, this would not be acceptable. 10x32 should be strong enough for my needs.The product description should be updated to accurately describe what's being sold here.

Jags received do NOT have a steel threaded shaft as indicated in the listing (and which I wanted, which was my specific reason for ordering.) The jags received have a much weaker brass shaft, which I have had break off easily on similar jags in the past, leaving a stub in the threaded end of the rod which can be difficult, if not impossible, to remove. Will be returning.
