I can't fault this too much - it does burn weeds, quite well in fact. It's a pretty simple device all things considered and once you get it fired up and going it makes really short work of weeds, or helps to start charcoal for the BBQ/pit barrel. Where it loses a star for me, though, is with the controls. They're just kind of awkward instead of being intuitive like other brands, so what I gained by saving a few bucks by going with this one I'm losing by not having easy to use controls. If you're cool with that tradeoff, then this will work great for you.

I live in the soggy pacific northwest and have used a similar torch for starting campfires when the wood is all wet/damp. I mainly got this one because...the handle is pretty awesome lol. But what I really love about it is the fact that I can use it with the smaller propane cans and not use the hose and lug the large propane tank around. It also packs down small, especially if you're not bringing the hose for a larger tank. It's pretty powerful with the 1lb propane canister. I'm impressed. This one will definitely replace the previous one I had.

This torch is great. It works so great. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. The instructions were great! Pictures that you can easily follow to set it up fast. You can adjust the flame so you can regulate the length of the flame. This is a neat little gadget. We used it to start a bonfire without paper or kindling. We also used for burning some weeds in the driveway. It makes a surprisingly large (and quite loud) flame with the valve fully open. A 1lb propane tank doesn't last long. I haven't had the opportunity to use it with the 20lb adapter, but that would certainly last longer. Jesus is king!

Powerful torch. This torch works with a full tank using the hose provided or a smaller green camping type of propane tanks. I really like the mobility because I use my torch to burn off weeds in remote areas of the yard. I also like the fact that I can get some BBQ charcoal started in no time. The handle is polished, very nice looking, kind of steam punk style of weapon. I particularly like the starter button. I don't have to worry about getting the flame going. There is a knob to control it from a simple flame to a full torch. Good product.

Ive seen these before but never owned one, Im glad I got it though as its a lot of fun to use.Functionally, this worked fine right out of the box, it was pretty intuitive to assemble, just hook it up and go. I really started to appreciate the 10' hose so I didnt have to move the gas tank as often. I used it to melt some stubborn ice that had formed a dam across my driveway and I smiled the whole time.The handle is a little lame, it looks like a childrens toy, but overall its functionally fine to use. The handle is plastic making it the weakest part of the tool, but Im not sure that its actually a problem unless you drop it.

It is really cool looking and is a bit like an old muzzle loader or black powder handle. It is plastic, but most of the other burners I have ever seen just have a sleeve with a valve. So this is cool. I like the self igniter, and the gauge so I know how much fuel I have left. Being able to use a one pound cylinder is nice but they don’t last very long and I have a ranch full of weeds. Bare bones versions of these at the big box stores are as much as twice this price so this is a very good deal. We also use these for starting brush piles, and bonfires, making Bio-char, heating up parts and equipment, and melting ice in winter. These are useful tools and very affordable. I like the 10 foot hose too.

I had the opportunity to use this product yesterday and it worked fine to burn off some pampas grass and it was definitely a huge improvement over my small propane torch. The igniter worked well although it struggled at times if it was windy but this is normal. I like that it came with a hose, gauge and adapter for a bulk LP tank and the ability to run off a small 1lb tank which gives me more versatility in how I utilize this product.I anticipate this seeing a lot of use around our property.Other considerations:About the only issue I see is the plastic handle which appears to be the weakest point and is also the point that is under the most stress due to the weight of tank or hose. I hold it with 2 hands, one on the handle and one in front of the handle to reduce stress.So far I have had no problems with it and hope it lasts a long time because I like this handy little torch and only time and use will prove out its durability
