I ordered and had this on hand for quite a few months, but since we don't usually have propane tanks around it took me a while to find the need to get one.With the snowfall recently, we were unable to get salt but were able to get propane... yeah, I torched some of the driveway lol!This assembled easily and operates well. It puts out an impressive amount of heat and is easy to use. I like that this keeps a small flame going and then you pull the trigger to open up the high heat.You will go through a tank of propane pretty quickly with this on full, no doubt. I probably ran mine for 45min. The tank was freezing due to the rate of drain and I probably used 80% of the tank. I recommend getting a cart to pull your tank around, as lugging a 20lb cylinder wears your arms out pretty fast.I do not recommend this over salt for snow/ice. Water has a very high heating coefficient and so this is less effective, and the melt water turns back to ice later on if it doesn't have a chance to dry. Salt for the win. ;)I'll try it on the driveway weeds come spring/summer, but would stay away from places where flames could spread.

This propane burner is powerful and works well. The biggest issue I have is the male propane adapter, most products have a female end to connect to a propane tank. This male end is difficult to align to ensure that you don't cross thread and cause a leak.Carrying around a 20lb propane tank is heavy, but burning the weeds is extremely effective so it doesn't take long. However I have noticed that the weeds do seem to come back faster than expected using this

I've been using this propane torch a couple different times now, and it's proven to be an effective tool for a variety of tasks. The high output is impressive—it heats up quickly and delivers a powerful flame that makes short work of weeds, melts ice, and even helps with roof asphalt.The self-igniter is a fantastic feature, sparing you the hassle of needing matches or a lighter. The turbo trigger is responsive and allows for precise control over the flame intensity, which is great when you need to be careful around delicate areas or want to direct the heat more effectively.The 10-foot hose provides ample reach, allowing you to work comfortably without feeling tethered to the propane tank. This length is particularly useful when dealing with large areas or hard-to-reach spots.The build quality is solid and durable, though the torch may be a bit on the heavy side for some. This heaviness is manageable, but it might be a bit cumbersome if you need to hold it for extended periods. Additionally, the hose is a little stiff and would benefit from being a bit more flexible to ease maneuverability. I am sure given time it will loosen up.Overall, this torch kit is a powerful and versatile tool that delivers excellent performance. If you need a high-output burner that gets the job done efficiently, this one is a great choice.

Fabulous. Heavy duty and works extremely well. Had issues with cheaper brands. This ignites immediately. Well worth the money!

I have another 500k BTU weed burner and its flame doesn't get anywhere near as long, hot, and stable as this. I attribute the difference to Hotdevil quality control. The off brand unit this replaces was bought locally where every single unit had the supply hose kinked by the zip tie bundle. Eventually, that is where it failed. This unit arrived with minimum bend radius respected.This arrived in 3 pieces. Burner end with 1/2 shaft, valve end with half shaft, and hose. They screwed together easily. Both ends of the hose are left hand threaded. Good box.There are only 2 holes in the burner cup. The large open end and the smaller end where the gas is injected.It lights very easily with the built in piezo ingniter. No more searching for matches or keeping track of where I laid the sparker down at. No more hair burnt off the back of my hand.The yellow maintenance flame consistently stays lit, but low and silent. The high output mode is very much like a hot air balloon burner. Long straight predictable blue flame. Loud.The cushioned handle makes it easier to use.My primary use case is clearing my wheelchair ramp after freezing rain or refrozen melting snow. Salt is damaging to the wheelchair and ramp, but the ramp can take the heat, and its faster than salt, and works at lower temperatures as long as you keep the gas bottle in the house till needed. Also used on driveway to melt specific hilly spot where tires always spin after freezing rain.

We have only tested this out, we haven't had to use it much at all but our tests did not fail us at all. My husband doesn't see anything wrong with this product and doesn't have anything adverse to state about it during this time. It included everything it said it would, matches the photos and description details. No complaints here.
