This weed burner hooks up to a propane tank like you would use for you grill. It has a 10 ft hose and throws a very strong flame for burning weeds are whatever your use case may be. I would recommend wearing longs pants when using this as it is a quick way to lose some leg hair.

So I bought this torch hoping it was like my old one where I could adjust the flame with the knob. I was wrong this unit knob only lets the pilot light be lit, you have to squeeze the lever to get a big flame. I do prefer the knob because I like to lay the torch down near a burn pile sometimes when it's a bit damp so I don't have to stand there for 3 minutes of my life trying to light it. That's my only gripe and since I'm so used to the other style I don't think this is quite for me.On the positive side it seems well built. Quality valves and hose. Plenty of hoes more than I need. Pretty lightweight and easy to use. If you're waving this thing around all over the place trying to burn weeds out of your sidewalk or something similar in a safe situation then this would definitely be a good torch.

We got this to weed under our poultry net fence that gets grounded out by grass and weeds touching the electric fence down low. We've had every intention to use this, but just haven't because I need my husband to help me hook this up (not because it's hard, but I just want someone else around for safety purposes). The flame weeders I've seen people on youtube using (homesteading channels mainly) are super expensive. We are so glad to be able to try one out from amazon & via vine. I will update when we've used it & maybe also with how long it takes the weeds/grass to come back.

This torch is a flame thrower, literally. It puts out a lot of heat and shrivels up the weeds instantly. I have used others that have not touched the quickness this unit provides to totally incinerate the weeds. It cleans up my driveway crack weeds in no time and since it is so quick, it doesn’t do anything to the concrete. There is not any discoloration. The downside is that you need to carry around a big propane tank, like the ones you use for a BBQ. They do weigh quite a bit. Fortunately, this torch comes with a 10-foot hose, so you can set the propane tank down and work a 10-foot area before you need to lift it again. I guess the big tank is the trade-off for the extra flaming power. Overall, this is a very effective torch and considering how quickly it works and the time it saves, it is a good value.

Just what the review says, it's lightweight and comfortable, complete with everything you need to get going. If you've never used one this size before you'll be shocked (satisfied? 😁 ) with the amount of heat/fire this thing puts out. Substantial green weeds will just pop and burn in a second, you basically just have to contact them with this and they're done. It's also an extremely fast way to light off a fire pit, no kindling, hassle, nothing, just point it at whatever wood you're burning, and in a minute or 2 you have a fire.

I already have a smaller one and liked it. But when I used to burn weeds, it took a long time. With this large torch, it works much better for larger areas.The material, as well as the fit & finish, of the torch all look high quality.

I was in the market for a weed burner after another one I got off of Amazon decided to stop working after two uses. After using the smaller one that broke, I knew I wanted something bigger. I came across this one and figured I would give it a shot. This item requires a big tank, which is fine because you have a 10-foot-long hose, which keeps you from having to move the tank around with you constantly. It has an igniter on the end which is very handy. I will say with all valves open fully this thing is obnoxious, so be prepared. My only complaint is I feel like the hose could be a bit longer, especially for burning weeds because you have to move around so much. Overall, I think this is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone.
