It's better than the previous model. The beep seems louder, it has an LED as an indicator to go with the beep. You can choose different home screens and what is displayed after each round. I will say that the beep is faster. Hard to explain, but the old saying of "Go on the 'B', not on the 'P'" matters especially so with this timer. Your times will be longer with this. Drives you to become better though.

Some timers have trouble picking up .22lr rifles, but not this one! I did have to adjust the sensitivity a bit, but it's far better than the brand I was replacing. Very happy with it!

The product is good, I’ve used them for year. The company however will never get another dime. I ordered this item a week ago when it was on “sale” it said it was shipped. A week later I get a notification from Amazon saying your purchased has been canceled by the seller. That’s dishonest and a cheat. If you sold it to cheap, take it up with Amazon. I will never do business again with competition electronics.
