The work fine but you need to keep them sharp but only by hand using slip stones or diamond shapener. Do not use rotary buffer because they will snap.

I love wood carving, especially by hand. After so many years of using a hammer these bits that fit into a drive shaft I also baought from Amazon!, have made my life a whole lot easier not to mention I can get a lot of work done in half the time! These are a must for wood workers! I still use my chisels and hammers but these I now use about the same as much as my regular hand tools. There great when your hands get tired but your not ready to stop! Highly recommended................. !

Package came in good time after taking 5 days from order to ship. Blades are sharp and work great. Recommend ordering sharpening stone with this product.

I use this tool in conjunction with hand gauges to remove wood fairly fast, I might remove faster with the hand tools but working together it helps a lot. I have noticed no overheating and so far the gouges seem to hold up well..May not be speedy but it does the job
