Price was good, but believe trowel is thin and will bend upon use.

Bends so much that a kitchen spoon would do better. This trowel is flat and would be converse except that I keep bending it back into shape. It's a waste of money for anyone whose soil is hard or who has to dig up difficult roots, carrots, etc. I've had it for a year and for an all-metal trowel, I expected better. My plastic trowels are now my go-to instead of this.

I liked that it was all metal so it can be cleaned and the sharp spade made it very useful. But it bent after 2 uses and now I have to be very careful when digging trenches.

So either I've been hit by some radiation making me awesome in strength... or this is rather flimsy. When I rammed the trowel into the earth and pried it up I was admittedly surprised when I bent the trowel as though it was made of puddy! Rejoicing in my new found super strength I bent it back true! Unfortunately the lack of general destruction at my touch suggests that the trowel sucks rather than super powers. My wife also wrecked the poorly made little hand shovel... look elsewhere for your small shovel needs unless you'll be exclusively using it for very loose soil

The wife uses this for our vegetable and herb garden, which is about 400 square feet. She loves it. I broke our last small trowel; the weld snapped between the handle and the blade. This one will have no such problem. It is simple, with one piece of stainless steel. So far, no rust and no bending, despite the hard clay.I will say that good gloves are a good idea with this. Because it is a single piece of stainless steel, it can be a little slick, especially with muddy or sweaty hands. I wouldn't mind some texture on the handle to aid in grip, but I used it to help put in some landscaping timbers, and with leather gloves I had no problems.

This thing is awesome. Has measurements to pinpoint how deep you dig, very sturdy handle. You can tell this will last for quite a while. And for such a great price, very happy.

This small hand trowel shovel is made of stainless steel (CRES), well formed, polished smooth, excellent finish. We've had this over a year, always left outside, stuck in the dirt, gets watered and rained on often, still looks like new. This is a perfect example of excellent tools outlasting cheaper carbon steel or plastic gardening tools 5+ times over...

I bought this for my wife because she was complaining about getting a blister from the garden trowel we already had. This one is not only smoother and, therefore, less likely to cause a blister but it is also sturdier than the plastic handled one she bought at a big box store. It works great and does what it is supposed to ... without causing any blisters.

I like that it's all one piece, so it can be cleaned fairly easily. it's a good size for planting smaller flowers and herbs. The stainless steel makes it look sleek and modern. Great product, especially for the price.
