Great for Gaming, Music Production, Photo & Video Editing, Digital Media Plus More I am sure! I got this as a gift for my boyfriends 16 year old. I don't know how it compares to the name brand because that has been unavailable the entire time I have been looking for one. That being said this one does exactly what he wanted it to do. It's been working great, his game are running smoothly (much better actually). The Equipment doesn't feel cheap, it feels like good quality and it's doing exactly what the gamer wanted it for so i am very pleased with my purchase. Obviously far more affordable than the name brand and as far as I can tell it works the same. Good product I recommend!
