  • The size of socket saver exactly matches to the pipe ID. If you are trying to save the 2" elbow, please cut the piece flush on the 2" end, then use bit to hollow out elbow for new 2" piece.

  • No, there is not. Schedule 40 and schedule 80 require different tools due to the different wall thicknesses. This tool only works on schedule 40 PVC, ABS OE DWV.

  • It is used to clean burrs and prepare the pipe for a clean connection.

You must poses a little bit of ability to make this work as it should but can be a life saver when fitting replacement isn't and option.

Well got this to fix a broken Pipe......well....it didn't work....it started out perfect the. The tool got stuck in the pipe....and would t come out.....had to cut the elbow out....vary disappointed.....when I did get ot out .....it was bent.....and the cutter was stripped out....the shank just spun .....

Speaking of the 3/4”, this makes a smaller opening than the pipe leaving a lot of picking and scraping to get back to the pipe size.

Needed to replace a leaking pipe without replace the entire system was able to cut and drill out old pipe but new pipe fit very loose need to extra thick pvc glue to make the joint seal, definitely not ideal.

What can I say you get what you pay for. Cheap junk they do not drill clean the 3/4 " one is worthless the 1/2 " one the hole is so sloppy i wouldn't trust it.
