Easy to install. I used this for two rain barrels I got and hooked to my gutter system. I used these spouts - absolutely no leakage, the quality of the PVC fits nicely in the barrel. I didn’t use the tape though but it nice to have!

I used this to replace an existing spigot on a rain barrel where the handle was so tiny it was obnoxious to turn on an off. This is a huge improvement, everything turns easily so I think it also would be really good for anyone with arthritis or similar. It's also an easy install and the included teflon tape is a nice to have right there. I can't speak for longevity yet but so far so good. And yes, check your sizes. 3/4" seems to be standard hose fitting but I think these rain barrels can be all over the place.

it does absolutely nothing but completely leak all the time until all of the water in the rain barrel is completely gone to the point of where I installed it with this Spicket
