I needed to connect some water barrels, near the full mark on the barrel. The reason for doing this is so that the barrel connected to the downspout would fill completely before water would spill over into the adjacent barrels. It's remarkably hard to plumb a connection like that with (e.g.) rigid PVC pipe and fittings. But this flexible connection worked perfectly right out of the box.The only thing you need to be sure of is the height at which you drill the holes in the barrels to be connected.Everything else -- e.g., the exact space of the barrels, the exact angle at which you drill through the barrel -- is flexible. Just eyeball it, drill your holes, put in the rubber grommets, and push in the flex pipe. Done. It's the right part for the job.

During the drought this year my single barrel ran out of water so I needed to use my tap. This estension provides me a great way to save money on my water bill when it doesn't rain for a while. Instructions were clear and everything installed easily. In order to keep it leak proof the rubber bushing is really tight on the hose, so I had to twist it back and forth to install, but that's better than a leak lol

This came with everything needed to connect the two rain barrels together. Easy to install and has worked perfectly. No more spill over from the original rain barrel and the second barrel is half full already. So much better to water our garden with this rain water than well water. Great buy excellent price works beautifully.

I have three rain barrels strategically located around the house. So, I needed three of the connector kits, as the rain barrels were easily filling up and needed a process to handle overflow. The connector kits were used to link the barrels back to the downspouts when an overflow occurred. The process is installing the connector kits was easy and works well. I just didn't like to pay $28 each for set of materials that costed probably less than $9 per kit. But, that's the reward of enterprise for you!

You will find this installs easily and does not leak. Once installed you still have a good hole saw drill bit you can use for other projects. Recommended.

This is a great kit. The parts are all of top quality and the hole saw itself is super upper shelf quality all the way, I really liked the built in pilot, in the hole saw drill bit. Nice touch!!!! No wondering drill bit, really top notch. The entire process is Easy and everything fit great and is really easy to install and it works great!!!!! I opted to installed this kit at the bottom of my barrels so I can drain both barrels from one barrel. Yes there is more and constant pressure on the crossover when installed in this manner but I am having no issues and I have NO leaks and if I need to empty my barrels fast I can.YES, You’re barrels do need to be empty to do this type of install, well kinda? If you are talent and you don’t mind getting a little wet? Do / drill / set up install grommet and hose in the empty barrel first and be ready to get wet if your other barrel is holding water.Thank you for helping in saving the world

I already had one barrel set up but wanted to add another. I decided to use the connector at the bottom instead of the top as the directions state. Logic and physics told me that it would work either way. Putting it at the bottom saved me having to install another spigot at the bottom of the second barrel. I think it took all of five minutes to install, the included hole saw drill bit helped. It's working perfectly as it rained pretty heavily soon after I installed it. The rubber fittings fit nice and tight, only time will tell if they start to leak, so far no problems. My only negative comment is that it is a little pricey for what you get. I was going to make my own for less than half the price but decided my time was worth more so just bought this unit. It works, it looks good and it doesn't leak.
