I had and fun outdoor rain gauge with a glass beaker, but the bottom cracked when a hail stone hit the bullseye. I was surprised come across these gauges, which are almost exact replacements.These plastic breakers look a lot sturdier than glass and can be read from afar...without needing to go out in the rain. Nice that you get two beakers in the order, but I’d rather just get one for half the price.
