Who knew it would be so easy to replace my broken glass rain gauge tube?! Trust Amazon to have it! There are several products advertised, all looking essentially the same, but this is definitely the best deal It fits perfectly into my holder, is easy to read, and now, after I break all four, I'll know without worry how to replace them.

These are very nice. They’re a good, sturdy glass with clear markings. They also came well packaged in a box with each tube individually wrapped. Upon seeing them I actually thought these could make a nice gift for someone who enjoys backyard weather monitoring. You’ll just need a way to stand or mount them. I found that a 7/8 drill bit was helpful.

Deer don't seem to have any regard for rain gauges located in flower beds. These give me a good supply of replacement parts when the deer inadvertently crush the original tubes.

I was looking for replacement glass rain gages to replace others which broke. I'm glad to find glass and not cheap plastic. They are sold in a multiple set which is good because the packaging is so flimsy that 2 were already broken upon arrival. I don't know if I missed the info but these are quite narrow so they don't fit (flop tilted in the grips) any of my garden rain gage holders. I like that they are taller and they are sturdy despite breaking in transit with inadequate packaging and shipping. It was too much trouble to return broken glass so I kept them and will try to figure out how to cushion them upright in my current holders.

I had gone through 2 glass rain gauge tube in a few months so I order these in anticipation the birds or whatever would damage more of them.They arrived, it did not fit my rain gauge tube holder as expected but that was an easy fix.I am still on the first one, it is holding up just fine.
