Very well made. Assembly instructions are very clear & easy to understand. Parts are labeled which makes assembly easy. Great adjustability.

Finally, a sturdy, well-constructed piece of equipment! One suggestion - the parts are marked with letters (A, B, etc.) but those markings don’t appear in the instructions. It’s not that big of a deal as it’s easy to figure out.

Great height, easy to put together, very strong. Easy to clean, very light to move out of the way for others to use. Wife recovering is very appreciative.

Much more comfortable then most. Very sturdy, does not feel unsafe. Can be used over your actual kamode or as a stand alone. Sits up high for easier transfer from wheelchair.

After my husband’s knee replacement surgery, he needed assistance to sit on the toilet and get up. This added height and stability to get up. Easy to put it together and adjust as needed. We kept the box to store it in so we have this as we get older.

Anyone who has difficulty rising from a sitting position, or who has an injury to the knees, or is simply not too limber for whatever reason, will benefit from this useful device. I didn't know until recently that such a thing even existed, but it was recommended to us by our nurse after a knee injury and it's made a great difference in ability to use the toilet.Frankly, a higher toilet seat is a desirable thing for many reasons - the most notable being that if any member of your family tends to "plop" down rather than sit down, the toilet will eventually be loosened where it meets the floor and begin to leak. Having used this for a while, I'd suggest that toilets in general are too low and most of us are taller than the previous generation. We'll continue to use this even after the present injury heals, since family members who aren't injured also appreciate the soft, raised seat.

This would be a solid five stars if it came with a safety bar for the back as if you plan to use this as a stand alone, if the user leans back, they can fall backwards. We bought this to use with a standard height toilet during a remodel but quickly found it was easier to use set up in a room as a commode bc that bathroom was too difficult to navigate with a walker. We like the cushioned seat but find it difficult to clean (dealing with a wound on the backside and creams get stuck in the plastic cushion seam). We definitely recommend buying plastic pan liners and the gel pads to make clean up a breeze.

If you're going to use this commode you should be aware that the seat, while padded, is much smaller than it looks. If the person using it is male then go ahead and buy some urinals while you're at it. It's very difficult to hit the target. Even removing your toilet's seat and lid it is difficult to get it to try and hit the water. And mine is the elongated bowl but I still can't get it to cover enough of the bowl. So, I'm sure you're probably thinking just use the bowl that comes with it. The bowl's size is actually minimal so even if you hit the bowl please prepare for a splash back. The bowl is small shallow.I bought this because I thought it would work well and didn't want to dig out his old commode. Today I dug it out. And when we get a little break in the weather I'm taking it to the car wash to clean it.Please do not waste your money
