This item is quiet and powerful. And it’s beautiful. It functions well. The hand gestures aren’t really good, but I just push the buttons, no problem.

This exhaust fan was easy to install and the controls work well. At the lowest settings it efficiently removes fumes from the stove into the exhaust. At the highest fan settings it is like there is a cyclone over your stove fumes are gone but it is very noisey.This does not seem to agree to a few of the other posted comments.

This hood is modern, beautiful and powerful at removing cooking odors. We also love the "wave" technology, so we don't need to actually touch it during cooking, just wave a hand to adjust speed from low, med. and high. It has two nice lights that are directed to the stove top. I sometime just leave them on when the other lights are off, just because it looks nice. They work independently of the fan. Oh, and even though the fan is more powerful than most hood fans, it is still relatively quiet. I definitely recommend this product.

We are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen. My husband didn't have any issues with the installation. Everything works as it is supposed to, but we are not cooking in the kitchen yet, so I can't comment on its effectiveness in removing odors and steam/smoke at this point. It does look great, and the volume doesn't bother me. I really like that you can use hand gestures or turn that option off depending on your preference.

This is a fantastic hood for a kitchen like mine, where we cook spicy food regularly. I normally do not write reviews, but I am 100% satisfied with this product. I hope to come back and provide follow-up feedback after one year. Highly recommend!

very quiet compared to our microwave fan. install wasn’t too bad but definitely heavy for one person job. if you plan on using this i would highly recommend using 6inch ductwork. we have 4 inch ductwork that was already installed and it works well but i think it would work much better with the suggested 6in. screws that came with it we didn’t use they’re just to long so we just used wall anchors and screws (see picture) so the screw head is inside the cabinet and the anchors are on the inside of the fan. we also switched to a brighter light bulbs (GU10 LED BULBS..update:We decided to upgrade our ductwork to 8inch from the 4 that was already installed and it made a ton of difference in suction. go 6” minimum but if you’re upgrading from 4 or installing from scratch go 8inch if you can you won’t be sorry you did.
