The attached picture says it all, this is the condition that I received this unit in. The interesting part is that the packaging was perfect condition so all I can assume is that it looked like this when it was shipped. The bottom part of the case is making contact with the bottom of the PC Board, this is not even safe to plug in...Also, this is an older model without a 110/220 switch so my guess is that you won't even get full voltage out of a 110 power connection. If you look closely at the pictures you'll find one that calls out 220.
