I already owned the bullet puller but I didn’t have the collet for 22 caliber. It pulls out the bullet without damaging them very quickly and easily.

Very easy to use with the die an have pulled well over 50 bullets. Simple, quick, easy, and didn't deform the projectiles. This will last a lifetime versus the hammer style (which I have burned through 2). Recommended

This is much better than a kinetic hammer. The process of pulling a seated and crimped bullet is neat and without mess. All components can be re-used too. RCBS seems to make high quality components.

I had a number of old reloads that needed pulling...I bought the die and this collet. It worked great! Just pay attention to the instructions. Much faster than the hammer design when you have a quantity to pull. I have also found the old hammer design to wear out quick...this will last a lifetime.

This is a fantastic product. Initially I thought that I would only use this when I had a large number of shells to do. However, it is so easy and fast to use, I never use the inertial bullet puller anymore. Set the depth, clamp the bullet, pull.

I have used this to successfully pull 100 .223/5.56 bullets so far. I found that the free state size of the collet is slightly smaller than the .223 bullet (.224" dia.), so if the bullet is fully inserted into the collet when pulled, it is very hard to remove the pulled bullet from the collet afterwards. I had to use pliers to remove the pulled bullet. I don't know if this is because it is designed for a true .22 bullet (not .223), or if it is because the collet I received was just slightly smaller than it was supposed to be. I remedied this by only inserting the bullet in until I just feel it touch the collet, then clamping the collet tightly, then lowering the ram on my press to pull the bullet. Since the bullet is not fully inserted, you have to clamp it very tightly, or it will pull back out of the collet when the ram is lowered. If done properly, this allows easier extraction of the pulled bullet from the collet afterward.

Ultra fast delivery. Price was comparable, even taking delivery charges in to account. These parts in western Canada are not readily available .As a product, why did I not know about this earlier. Suffered through kinetic hammer type pullers for years. Discovered this , now my mistakes are easily, rapidly, reversed .
