The box only contained the ball, everything else was missing, I've since read the reviews and I wasn't the only one that experienced this, don't waste your time.

I should have checked the reviews as the product did not come with the bag either. This is falsely advertised. I would return, but the cat actually likes the ball on its own. The bag would help keep it contained though

For the most part, any automatic or mechanical toy has barely caught the attention of my cat (we got her at 6 months old, and now she's 10 months - so she's not an old fuddy-duddy!), if at all. A few she'd stare at quizzically, like trying to figure out what the heck is going on, but that little part of her brain that says "ATTACK!" or "PLAY!" never gets ignited.Until this toy.She loves it! It's like the "catch the feet" game she plays in the mornings with me, but without me needing 20 band-aids before getting out of bed. Oh, and should I forget to have this toy ready to go? She absolutely lets me know...I initially bought a second "ball" (different company, but basically the exact same thing) because I read some reviews saying that the battery life is not great. I really don't need that second ball. What I do is: first thing in the morning, I turn on the ball, put it in the... bag? (whatever you call the circle thingy), and then, at night, when my husband goes to bed, I take the ball out, turn it off, and charge it. By the time I come to bed, it's done charging and ready for the morning. (This also keeps the toy quiet while we sleep, since it's in our bedroom)So, whatever its "life" is per charge, it at least lasts all day for us.Happy cat, happy cat-parent!

After reading the reviews I was hesitant at first but this product looked like the perfect distraction/ enrichment for my troublemaker Fritz. And he definitely loved it and so did my other cats! The perfect sized “playing field” is made out of a sturdy but lightweight material, not easily destroyed by determined cats. Well sewn, I was sure it would entertain my rascals for a long time BUT after the 3rd charge it would only beep, display a white light, and nothing…. At first I thought may be the charger was bad and tried different ones without success.I returned it to Amazon for a replacement, which promptly arrived, and once again, my cats had a ball!BUT once again after a couple of charges, product failure! This time I returned the item for a refund. If this company would modify this product and insure continuous charging of the ball I would definitely purchase another one because my cats really enjoyed it BUT as is, don’t waste your money!!!Update/edit 06/14/24Often when I write negative reviews, I get messages via Amazon from the shipper/manufacturer trying bribes for a better reviews. What irritates me the most about it is: most don’t pay attention to honest customer reviews, just try to make a quick buck! Not this manufacturer!! Yes, they contacted me via Amazon but only to offer a free upgraded model without a push for a better review! Finally someone who listens to the consumer and promptly fixes the problem with the otherwise perfect product!I’ve had this new cat toy now for a month and my cats are having a ball! They even got that furry roller out of the enclosure once! Funny to see it racing around my living room with blinking lights followed by at least one cat! lol! Haven’t had any problems charging the upgraded roller and the charge last longer than most of the other gadgets!I will definitely keep an eye out for other products by this company & highly recommend their product & customer care!

Cat loves it - went to it immediately which she rarely doesSpecifically picked this one because 1) the mat looked thick (its not but its fine) and 2) the ball has a rubber coating and there is a plush ring to keep it slightly quieter. I say slighly because that trally jus prevents hard plasitc on hardwood. the motor is still loud then the ball flips (unaware it did that) and the mat is a krinkle material. was pleasently suprised that is also makes chirping noises toothere are 3 modes which are poorly explained (and has typos) on the instructions. many reviews ive seen here dont understand them either. to the best of my understanding:- norma (blue light)l: Stays on for x amount of time before going into standby. will wake itself every hour for 1m or will wake if cat interacts with it- active (purple light): always on- inactive (yellow) light : light blinks instead of staying on to grab cats attention but will only move or chirp when cat interacts with it- standby: sleep mode. no movement or lights unless touchedminor issues with inactive mode - it seems the sensor is sensitive so occasionally the ball just bumping into the edge of the mat is enough to keep it triggeredthe ONLY thing i will have to come back with an update for is battery (hence my headline 'great for an electronic toy). while i've had successes in the past, the overwhelming majority of electronic pet toys i've come across either have a terrible battery and basically need to be charged/ batteries replaced every couple hours OR has a terrible motor that will kill the products after a couple weeks. as such i tend to avoid these types of products. i've been very happy with them before only to have to return them 2 weeks later. as we just opened this, it seems great so far, but ultimately. it will come down to the quality of the battery and motor

First and foremost this is the best solution for keeping your cats entertained. It's rechargeable, so there's no further expenses for batteries. It's lightweight, you can take the ball thing out and let them just chase it.Okay for things I think need improvement and keeping me from giving 5 stars. I noticed after a few weeks that the seam tore and now there's a small hole in the side. It's hard to find the opening to put the ball inside.I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but my ball really doesn't squeak,or do the things it's supposed to. But it will roll around and do what the basics are which is fine. But if it's supposed to be doing all that stuff then I expect it to.
