I have two manual bells on my bike and I seek that TONE. This has a great one! Buy it.

I like the low-profile nature of this bell. When struck, the bell rings out clearly. It is not the loudest bell I’ve heard, but it is adequate for the trail. I have some concerns about the striker mechanism, as it is a bit flimsy. With careful use, I think it will be fine.

This bicycle bell looks good and sounds nice. It's a nice way to alert somebody that you are approaching from behind. It's easy to pluck the striker that rings it. I had a problem and couldn't mount it on my bike but that's not a flaw of the bell. Near the hand grip, the shifter was in the way. Near the center of the bars, the handle bar was too large for it. This will fit a 13/16 inch diameter handle bar or slightly larger. The design does not allow much larger than that. Or about 21-22 mm. diameter.
