These hoist are a no-brainer if you are building a new shop/garage or you can add structural straight inyour ceiling without to much trouble. Don't trust the standard ceiling truss's because this hoist can lift some serious weight and the ceiling is not designed for that load.I'm very happy with this and will come in handy for many back straining projects.

We installed this on 2 sections of unistrut with a trolley to lift big tent center pools off our storage rack safely. These poles are huge 5 inch round 12½ feet long and heavy. No where near the rated compacity but needed the longer cable length since we have 24 foot ceilings and it mounted to the rafters.
