This worked pretty much as expected. My original cable broke and was only playing one channel. I purchased this one to replace it. The connections are all functional and the surround sound works well.After a few months of regular use, it is starting to show signs of short connections- though that could equally be due to wear and tear or connection points inside the controller or headphone jack. the angle of the connection to the controller port is different from the straight plug the headphones came with and the change takes an adaptation but is not obstructive.

Local stores did not have this. The head set is a great high quality steel series artic headset. I was not about to buy a new one just because a lost cable. Thanks to this. I saved hundreds of bucks.

First time using it, it works fine and has made no difference to sound quality. My original wire broke and it was £20 for a replacement steelseries wire plus delivery. This one does the job and its cheaper

I needed to replace my Arctis headset cable after the male aux end had connection issues and stopped outputting both channels of audio and no mic.This is a perfect cable replacement, it does exactly what it needs to and that is replace the OOTB cable. The added feature of the male aux end being an L shape will make sure it lasts longer and that the cable doesn't bend at such an important point.Not much else needs to be said.
