Cable worked fine. Adapter didn't work -- manufacturing defect on screw depth I think. Quality control should have caught this issue.Things to note about the cable. The coil is closer to one end of the cable than the other. It's fairly light and would be comfortable with headphones. The defective adapter mean the cable isn't very useful (for me). The screw tip doesn't fit squarely into other adapters I own. Additionally, it will likely be too wide and/or may not fit some headphones.I'll be looking for a different cable.

I typically play guitar tethered to my amp with my headphones. The aux cord that came with my headphones was restrictive, but this gives me the slack I need to comfortably play without having to be within just a couple feet of the amp.

most cables don't fit the xm4 due to the inset connector slot but this one fit's perfectly and is so much nicer than the included one.

Works as expected. If you’re like me and are a little OCD about kinks in the cable, you can dip the coiled part in boiling water for a bit to relax it enough to cool without any persistent kinks if you let it hang while cooling.

The cable feels and looks very nice. The 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter screws onto one end so it’s very secure.

But it does pull back a little and you can feel it.Good cable nonetheless, no sound quality issues and stretches pretty far.

I bought this cable to use with an Audio Technica ATH-M50X as the original cable was stupid short...I guess because the headphones are bluetooth they didn't think that the cable mattered. After using these for a week to DJ, I had to order another one (before they become extinct). The cable is so flexible and extends a good 12ft with no problem. I personally don't need any more distance than that. The sound is very good and as of right now I don't have any complaints. It's so good to find a perfect solution like this...I might just get a 3rd one

It is a nice cable, but the only thing I noticed is that when you are using the 2.55mm balanced input on a headphone amplifier, it is just a little louder. I did not really hear if the sound was more open or clear. I like the fact that the cable is coiled so it packs in my case as well as a regular 3.5mm cable. I can walk all around my room and there is plenty of give and stretch on the cord and it does not try to tear my headset off when I get too far from the output plug of my receiver. The cable is a shade of dark purple, not really black. Different. All in all, very nice, I just don't know whether it makes a huge difference in sound quality.
