1: Why do we want it? Monitor yard watering and budget.2: Unboxing: Comes in box with teflon tape.3: Instructions: Good. Included.4: Install: Install the battery, thread fitting with teflon, connect hose, turn on. 10 minutes.5: In Action: This gadget works right away. It showed us how much water we were losing from a leaky fitting downstream from a Y. We have a network of hoses connected to one outdoor spigot, so realizing how much water we were losing just to leaks got us motivated to fix those leaks. Will want to know how much water we are giving the lawn etc. to keep an eye on the budget. TURNS ITSELF OFF AFTER ONE MINUTE.Pros: Easy to install, no other parts needed. You can watch the waterflow in real time.Cons: None.ProTip: Use the waterflow direction arrow as shown on the side of the unit.

I ordered 2 of these. Or more accurately, I ordered 1 each from 2 vendors. So, comparison is interesting. I will use them for monitoring my drip irrigation system. I will also use them to double check the water volume used during mixing herbicides in my big tank sprayer system. Both flow meters have the same user manual (only the brand name on the cover is different). Both flow meters have the same specifications. Both flow meters have the same menu system. This RESTMO Water Flow Meter is well made and a better value. It is also best used in systems where the hose ends and fittings are plastic. Connecting to hoses with metal fittings is OK if you use caution to avoid cross threading. Both gauges responded very well and alike during the tests. The test results indicate both displayed flow rates are just a bit below the measured rates. But the variance is minimal and stable. The variance is also possibly due to my procedure or test equipment.Test 1: I screwed both flow meters together and to the exit end of 200’ or ¾” hose for a flow test. Pretty quick it was obvious my 92 psi system and ¾” hoses had flow rates way over the gauge’s upper flow limit of 10.6 GPM. So, I put flow restriction on the end to throttle back the flow rate. First test both gauges read 6.4 GPM for a 30 second run. I measured the water volume from the test and found 12800 ml. That works out to 6.76 GPM. Within 5%. Not bad!Test 2: Same setup as test 1 but I reduced the flow restriction at the end a bit. Both gauges read 7.4 GPM during a 30 second run. Test 2 had dispensed 14520 ml of water. That works out to 7.66 GPM. Within 4% this time!

This is a very easy-to-use tool for monitoring the amount of water we put into our RV fresh water tank. It is made of quality plastic and focuses on functionality and accuracy. The display is clear and easy to read, providing real-time flow rate and total consumption data. Installation is simple, as it connects effortlessly to standard garden hoses and outdoor water systems without requiring additional tools. The weather-resistant construction ensures it holds well outdoors, making it a reliable long-term investment. It is much more accurate and durable than the ones we typically buy in bins at the start of the camping season. Great buy for the money.

I live in the desert so tracking our water flow is very important especially for gardening. And also from our water tanks to see what we use in between each fill up. This Restmo water flow meter is great for this purpose! It has several different settings including flow mode so you know how many liters or gallons per minute you're using. Consumption mode so you know how much you're using at a single use. New paragraph total mode which also has a reset so that you can reset the total of what you've used.It comes with full instructions including troubleshooting brass fittings a nice built-in metal mesh filter to help filter out any debris you may get in your line which is very easy to clean.I would recommend this for any Gardener or anyone who does use water tanks so that they can see what their input output is on a regular basis and to help control over use of water especially when you're in a desert climate. And also comes with a barcode to put a five year warranty on it, that's optional

Very good right out of the box! Just hooked it up to our hose and instantly gave readings on how many gallons of water was used today. Easy to read display, plug and play design, nice it has a filter for debris, a few good quality washers and a little pipe sealant tape were included. We have a commercial high tunnel and grow crops so this is important to know! Sadly we do not have a well and use municipal water. First time we were able to see how much water was used 136 gallons! Sturdy construction can see this lasting quite long.

Before I found the RESTMO Water Flow Meter, I measured the water flow rate with a 4-gallon bucket and calculated the average and total water consumption. This ingenious little device does everything with the push of a button. The Restmo Water Flow Meter has four modes: FLOW, CONSUMPTION, AVARIGE, and TOTALL. All the numbers showed on the LCD screen. The last time I used my trusty water bucket to check for the accuracy of this Water Flow Meter, it was no surprise that it was very accurate. This Meter has standard garden hose connectors, so for a shower house, I used a 1/2" NPT To Garden Hose Adapter 3/4" GHT not included with the Water Flow Meter.

This is a decent quality water volume usage meter. I'm using it on the garden hose to monitor how much water I'm using when watering the garden, which is a nice data point to collect.I have a brass version (two male ends) of this exact meter also, and am pleased with how they both work.Measures in either US gallons or litres.RECOMMENDED!
