Just as described. I wish it were a little stronger, but will work great.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and design of this net. The overall body is constructed of metal with a net that seems comprised of (possibly) strong plastic. To fully assemble the head of the net requires a bit of strength for the pieces to latch to eachother. Once assembled it is quite sturdy and easily holds up to fish with weight. Once done, the unit is easy to clean and fold down. It's compactness is what I appreciate most as it folds quite small and allows for easy transport and storage, although it telescopes to over 80 inches. Overall this has been a great addition to my fishing tackle, and with care I expect this net to last a significant amount of time.

I was in need of a large and long fishing net for landing larger catfish off a ledge. This net has incredible net space so its very easy to land any fish you need. The issue is with the handle itself. The rods handle is made out of PLASTIC, and WILL break like it did on me when your trying to lift larger fish out, 10 and more pounds. Id recommend saving your money and just getting a more sturdy net with a metal handle.

He says he loves it. He's blind and loves to fish. Folds up compact.

I kayak fish for salmon in Michigan. This net fits neatly on the front of my kayak. unfolds quickly. Big enough for big game fish.
