I purchased this to replace the ball head on my monopod to support my long, heavy camera lens for shooting wildlife and birds. Works great!

This tripod is lightweight, easy to set up, and sturdy. A good price and worth every penny. I use it at the range three days a week and love it.

I was looking for a versatile gun rest to use when zeroing in. This one is a tripod and converts to a monopod and comes with the v-rest for firearm use as well as a smartphone adapter and DSLR camera adapter as well... A very welcomed surprise!!Seems like great construction and I look forward to putting it to use!!Highly recommend.

This was exactly what I was looking for. The ribs that the rifle rest on within the "V" are rubber, so they have some give and gripping ability.

I am an Amazon Vine reviewer. I choose the items I want to review. I do receive them for free, in exchange for an HONEST review, though I pay taxes on all products. I am reviewing the Rifle Tripod, Portable V Yoke, sold by the JINSE store. I chose this item to help my target practice with my rifle. This tri-pod comes in a nice canvas zip up style case with a handle. It is light weight, weighing in at just above 2.5 pounds. It is easy to extend and fold up and has a great length adjustment. I am 4’11 and Hubby is 6’0 and we can quickly and easily adjust it for our individual heights when target practicing. It is sturdy and doesn’t wiggle around when resting the rifle on it. I am not a hunter or a competitive shooter. I grew up around guns, but it’s been decades since I’ve done a lot of shooting. This mount helps me hold my weapon steady while I acquaint myself with the art of shooting. It works great for my purpose and it easy to pack up and carry to the gun range.I hope this review helps and Happy Shopping!

The review score reflects my evaluation of the tripod’s quality and features commensurate with other tripods in this class and near this price point. One of the best features concerns its compact size. When completely broken down and folded, the tripod has a length of about 15 inches, which is quite impressive. The tripod can achieve this short length by releasing the leg locks and folding the legs over the main support post. The maximum height I measured from the floor to the bottom of the V-yoke was 50 inches. The tripod is constructed mainly of aluminum and weighs about 2.6 lbs. It comes with a User Manual, a nice carry bag, a 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw for the monopod conversion, a hex wrench, and a 1-year warranty. This tripod can be converted into a monopod by unscrewing one leg, removing the main post, and joining the leg and post together. I performed the conversion and must say I am not impressed. First, the User Manual is useless for understanding the conversion; second, it’s overly complicated and time-consuming; and third, the compression sleeve fell out of the large screw cap near the bottom of the post and was very difficult to reassemble. If you need a monopod, I suggest purchasing one separately. The legs tighten with rotation locks, and I noticed no play in the legs. Also, the leg locks have three positions to allow for three different leg angles. The tripod appeared to be quite rigid when everything was tightened down completely. However, when a rifle is placed in the V-yoke, the weight of the rifle will cause some flex movement. Accordingly, you will need to support the tripod with your offhand to minimize tripod movement. Fortunately, the tripod comes with a wrist strap to assist with this technique.Pros:• The legs lock up stiff• Folded, the tripod is about 15” long• The leg locks have 3 positions to angle the legs• Comes with a nice carry-storage bag• Can attach other accessories when the V-yoke is removedCons:• It only has a one-year warranty• The monopod conversion is too unwieldy to be practical in the field• Can have flex movement when a heavy rifle is placed in the V-yokeAlthough this looks like a converted photography tripod, it can perform well in the field when using sound techniques. The weight and compact size make it a good choice when you need something to pack into the wilderness. Overall, this tripod is commensurate to many other tripods in this class. You may want to compare this one to the numerous others and consider the quality, features, and price point. I plan to use this tripod regularly and swap out the heads according to my needs.

Nice that it comes with different sized collets to fit various main screw sizes, but the opening is too small to rest my rifle’s forend in it and it only fits the barrel. Not really wide enough to use it for bino support on a pack, plus the swivel makes it wiggly. Should have gone with a wider yoke opening that doesn’t rotate on its own.
